Naseeruddin and Anil kapoor jealous of priyanka and deepika?

Naseeruddin Shah and Anil Kapoor are two people who never mince their words and speak what they actually believe in. So, when these exemplary actors were recently asked about Deepika and Priyanka's grand entry into Hollywood, Anil Kapoor who himself has starred in Hollywood biggies like 'The Slumdog Millionaire' and 'Mission Impossible' said,"Yeh kuch bhi nahi hai (This is nothing). You mark my words. I said this seven years back and nobody took me seriously and I am telling you again now. Are you happy seeing this? This is nothing. The real deal would be when a young guy or a young girl gets a role and becomes a huge star. Am I making sense? When someone who has just started her career and her first film happens to be a Hollywood one. It will happen. Someone will definitely become a huge star. That's success for me. This is nothing. Kya hai yeh? You just wait and see what is going to happen. It is great what is happening right now but it is going to get better and better."

Well, now this coming from Anil Kapoor might not make Priyanka and Deepika too happy. After all, getting a breakthrough has never been a cakewalk for any Indian actor, new or established. Anyways, echoing Anil's words is one of the stalwarts of Hindi cinema, Nasseruddin Shah, who said,"These people who are tom-tomming their entry into Hollywood are all going to come back very soon. Because Hollywood has no place for an Asian to play a lead. It's a one-off thing."

These statements sure start a debate; are Deepika and Priyanka's careers going to fizzle out in Hollywood or will they prove Anil and Naseeruddin wrong and ascend to greater heights? Only time will tell...

Was not Anil Kapoor part of 24 season 8 he had a pretty good role and had appeared in half of the season.

How many Hollywood stars have made it in Bollywood? How many can even if they wanted to?

Why can't people just appreciate what these girls have done? If everyone could have, everyone would have.

Well I wonder if Anil ji will say its nothing if it was his laadli making the debut in HW. 🤔 Why cant these stars just eat humble pie for once and just feel happy for whoever making their mark somewhere out there where no one thought is possible. Or just be happy someone is making her/his come true. So bitter!

Nasseruddin's comments are not surprising because he's a bitter person I suppose somehow. Maybe he felt he deserved more.

I don't think they are jealous. More like disenchanted with hollywood.

They both made their hollywood debutes when middle aged.

Already the roles on offer are decreased.

They would be stupid to think they would be big stars themselves when entering late.
