Chapter 2He slammed her body against the lockers, earning a painful yelp from her.
"You really thought, you will get away easily after hitting her?" He growled lowly, she shuddered in fear, seeing the anger in his eyes, left her terrified.
"Leave me." She choked.
"No. Not until you go and beg for forgiveness from kriya." Rey put the condition infront of her.
"Not in this lifetime." She spat at his face harshly. She wouldn't go and apologies to anyone, she hasn't done anything wrong, and most important, her self-respect was more important to her. She would never do something that would made her feel in her own eyes, and apologizing to Kriya surely make her feel weak and pathetic.
"Okay! So, deal with the consequences." He smirked, his raised his fist to hit her.
Taani closed her eyes tightly, waiting for the punch, but it never came.
She frowned, and opened her eyes to see him, smirking down at her.
"Be thankful, my mother has taught me better. I don't raise my hand on women." Hearing his explanation, she scoffed.
"But has your mother taught you to emotionally abuse someone? You manhandle me, bully me everyday and that doesn't make you a gentleman either." She smiled sarcastically, leaving him in deep thoughts.
Taking advantage of his absentmindedness, she pushed him and ran away from there.

"Taani beta!!"
She groaned when she heard an affection filled voice from behind, she stopped and turned around to face an middle aged man, dressed in three piece suit.
"What do you want?" She hissed in anger. Seeing the man infront of him, has never brought happy feelings to her.
"Beta, i want to talk to you." The man spoke lovingly.
"But i don't. Please, leave me alone, Mr. Shekhawat. Your kids has already made my life hell, and if they saw you with me, it will give them one more reason to hate me more." Taani said to him in stern tone, without any emotion. Then She turned around and walked away from there.
Leaving a teary eyed man behind. He was country's one of the best business man, Rishi Shekhawat. He has everything one could ever wish for, but still he doesn't have what he wants, he doesn't have real happiness.
