Love is... Part 3
This is Last part, I tried my best to more expressive, but at same time wanted to keep it simple, hope you'll like it,
Abhi would wait for whole week, so that he can go Pune for weekends to meet his fuggie, Pragya was 34weeks, she was true fuggie now, like balloon, her legs were swollen n her tummy was like as if she was carrying twins, one can place a dinner plate on her tummy, but her face had that glow which would make you forget that she has any scar, one such day,he was about to kiss Pragya's tummy, fuggie kicked hard n Pragya woke up, she didn't saw Abhi but she got suspicious as she always felt fishy on weekends, like someone is watching her, so she decided to act like she is sleeping, after while Abhi came again he kisses her tummy talking to fuggie, n asked her not to trouble your mummy, then he kissed Pragya on forehead n softly told I love you n he went. Pragya was shocked but at same time was happy that he loves her not because she was mother but he loved her for what she is, she also wanted to say same but, she thought "what if he was telling I love you to his baby his fuggie n not me,"n went to sleep
Next day, abhi got call from Purab, n he asked," what are your plans for next 14 days"
A: not much, I have concert next month, so mostly will practise for that
P: I wanted to inform you something
A: (cuts in) is fuggie alright??
P: fuggie what??? Who is she???
A: my baby
P: you already name her
A: (with excitement) so is it going to be girl
P: you caught me, yes you are going to have girl, but pls don't tell anyone as its against law, I called you for that only, weight of amniotic fluid is more then baby's weight n her placenta is also low lying, so maybe we won't wait till actual labour start, n operate her in coming week
A: (calmly) Why don't you do colour dropper sonography n check blood flow in heart n other parts of body, n if that is normal, then check for gestational diabetes, I think we can weight at least till 36-37 week, n till then ask her cut down on salt completely for few days
P: (was shocked) how you know all these
A: I'm going to be single parent but, i should know, what mother goes through difficulties during pregnancy n after that, physically I'm single but emotionally she will get both.
P: Wow, I'm impressed that you are so already attach to your unborn baby n her mother, will inform you about reports, bye
Purab turned to Pragya n said," you are right he is very much concerned n he can handle any situation, he really understand what he wants from life, n thanks for making him realise that, n sorry for scolding on you"
Flashback
Pragya was typing mail n Purab just came in, n saw her replying to Abhi n he started scolding her, to that she said that he is going to be single parent n if I don't guide him, them he will only depend on maids to rise fuggie, he has not plan this baby for Servent right???, you can call him now, ask any thing or any situation, I can assure you, he won't panic or get confused but will have solution to it n he called Abhi right away n lied him about Pragya
Flashback ends
Pragya," really sir, it's girl,
Purab,"yes" she with excitement,"i told you, I wanted to be sure that fuggie should deserve love of both parents, if he decided to be single parent then he himself should know how to handle any situation related to pregnancy n baby"
Purab: do you know who is he??
Pragya: sir we never disclosed about our personal life or even name
Purab: I'm proud of Pragya, n fuggie is lucky to have parents like both of you, after 2hours
Abhi gets call from Purab again
P: don't worry Abhi, your baby is doing well, reports are normal n may be we will wait till 38weeks
A: I know everything is going to be fine, fuggie is strong, she has survived that accident n she will do this also
P: confused whom are you talking about??? Your fuggie is still in tummy n as far as I know mother has not suffered any accident in her pregnancy
A: I'm talking about mother of fuggie, accident she suffered before that, she is also like fuggie after gained so mush weight, she looks like balloon, I don't know her actual name so fuggie
P: oh my god, her name is
A: pls don't, we have decided not to disclose
P: n when that happen??
A: pls pls don't scold her, we are talking through mail,
P: I know that, just caught her red handed while she was replying you,
A: really, where you mad at her???pls don't be, it's all my idea n my condition that she should not tell you
P: I know, she told me that you are going to best father in whole world n you have full right to know each n every detail about baby
A: no actually she is best mother in whole world, my fuggie kicks n moves so much but she so cutely gets angry on her, I love her
P: you are confusing me fuggie your baby, n you calling her (Pragya) also fuggie n you love her means, which fuggie, you love
A: both,
P: (confused) tell me how do know she is fatty
A: ( bites his lip) it's common sense all pregnant ladies are fat n round
P: (laughs) so you love her n your fuggie, I mean both
A: why are you asking again n again like CID, tell me clearly what you want to ask
P: ok I will come to point, your case is totally different, I mean you both talk, know each other inside out but don't know each other's names, you both have trust in each other but never saw each other's face, I think you both are in lov...
A: ( gets nervous n cuts in) pls don't say we love each other, I'm taking care of her n she is taking care of baby that's it we are just friends
P: ok let it be, but keep yourself free for next month, I will call you ok bye take care
Abhi thinks," thank god, I almost got caught today, I was about to say I came to meet her, I love her, if this conversation continue then may be I would I have told him that Im going to propose her for marriage, before she delivers," n he mails her,
"Hey how are you, hope everything to going fine, n my fuggie is not troubling you less, I have some work, may not mail you for next 2days, I have to go outstation n there is network problem so sorry in advance, Purab called n told me that you are having some health issue, so from now cut down on salt, start walking in night also, but take bulbul along with you ok, don't go alone anywhere n pls for few days stop listening to Abhi songs in midnight, you n fuggie go crazy, night time is to rest n not listening music that to rock music ok, take care"
she read mail, she was happy n confused, "how did he know that I listen to music in midnight, I never told him, (she remembers he came on weekend)was he coming on every weekend???, he is so possessive about my health, actually his fuggie, if I'm fine then fuggie will also be fine, I must do what he said" n she decides to reply him later n first go for walk n calls bulbul but she was not around, when enquired she came to know that bulbul is having fever so she has not come today, Pragya went to hospital's garden n started walking, after sometime it started raining, it was first rain of monsoon, she enjoyed smell of wet soil n sound of crickets n rain, but when she realised its not good for fuggie, she rushed to go inside but slipped, she cried out loud in pain, there was blood all over, she was almost soak in blood as she fell on tummy, hearing her voice, Purab n other nurse came running n rushed her to operation theatre,it was around 3am when Purab called Abhi n told him about what happened n they will operate her right now, Abhi was in shocked, he took car n started driving fast n rough, he was lost in thoughts remembering about Pragya n fuggie, how he had planned to marry her before she delivers n at same time continuously praying to God, to save both, n suddenly truck came in n Abhi lost control of car n met with accident, he was lucky enough as accident took place just before hospital, he was rushed there, Abhi was not that hurt, but had some swelling on leg, he could hardly walk, doctor asked him to rest, n said he could leave in morning but Abhi arranged for cab n tried his best to reach as fast as he could
Here Pragya gave birth to beautiful girl, tiny baby though she was premature, she was almost 1.9kgs, n was looking just like Abhi (well that's what she thought)
It was around 9am in morning when he reach Pune, he was really excited as he was going to see his fuggie for first time, n going to propose Pragya for marriage, as he entered his eyes where continuously searching for Pragya n he finally asked nurse, where is Dr Purab n nurse directed him to Purab's cabin
A: hey so where is my fuggie
P: what happened?? Why are you so late n why you are walking like this
A: it's long story, but where is fuggie
P:(calls nurse ask to bring her) wait here she is coming
A: really, here!! I thought after delivery it takes few days to walk, but my fuggie is strong, she is walking already
P: you are talking about mother right??
A: of course, I know new born babies can't walk, well may be after 9-10 months, they can
Nurse comes with baby n gives in hands of Abhi, he had tears in his hands, he didn't struggle to hold her, it was like she was always in his arms, resting like an angle, after few moments spending with her, he ask for mother (Fuggie )
P: I'm sorry you can't meet her
A: this not done, I want to meet her now, n I mean it, now
P: pls don't be stubborn, I said na, you can't meet her
A: pls pls, listen you were right I'm in love with her n I'm going to propose her today for marriage so pls let me meet her
P: I'm sorry
A: ( stands with anger) fine I will find myself n leaves, he looks in her ward, she was not there, he looked for her in OT, but she was not there either, he again goes to Purab cabin
A: ( in very angry tone)tell me where is she???
P: I'm sorry but
A:(literately bagging) pls pls I bag you
P: ( calmly) Abhi firstly I'm not against you, I knew one day you will say that you love her but I'm sorry she is no more
A:(slaps) how could you go so low, don't lie, I know you are hiding her
P: Abhi get hold of your self, She died due to postpartum hemorrhage ( lost lots of blood during labour )
A: no you are still lying, I don't trust you
P: pls Abhi ( just then fuggie started crying)
A: ( in tears look at he), for her sake, pls tell where is she
P: I tried my best but could not save her, believe me pls
Abhi was broken beyond repair, he fell on keens, hugging his fuggie cried n cried,
A: where is her body, I want to see her for one last time
P: today, early in morning we did the rituals
A: why can't you informed me???why didn't you wait for me, WHY??
P: we tried but your phone was not reachable n she was orphan she didn't had any friends also, so
A: so what?? I'm there for her, why didn't you wait
P: pls Abhi, you have to be strong n take care of your fuggie
A: what was her name
P: Pragya
A: Pragya, I will name her( looks at his fuggie) Pari n hugs her
P: nice name, ( in serious tone) listen she is premature, she will have to stay here for month or so
A: ok I will also stay here
P: I can't allow that, it maternity hospital,
A: I can't leave her alone all by her self, do all arrangement in my hotel room, I will stay here in Pune
P: that's not possible either, she is too tiny to handle n we have to put in incubator n
A: (cuts in) ok, but I will came to meet her when ever I feel n pls don't say not allowed for this, its request, promise I won't disturb anyone, pls
P: ok
Abhi would come n care for his Pari, he would insist that he will change nappies, he would stand for hours out side room gazing at Pari, he would still mail Pragya n update her with all he felt about being father n pari, he even uploaded pics, he knew he will never get any reply but still, it was like he is writing dairy, he would read her past mails again n again, her detail info about fuggie, which would help him to connect with her
It was almost month, pari was 3.2kg, n today she was going to discharge,
P: congrats finally you will be taking your angle home
A: ya, but I have decided I will stay in Pune for next 5months as I want Pari to get breast milk from bank n not cows milk or artificial milk
P: that's good, but you can get that in Mumbai also
A: I have still not announce about her arrival, I will do once she starts with semi solid food, n big enough to travel n I'm on leave till then
P: I'm so proud of you
A: this is what Pragya wanted me to do, give all my love n affection to my fuggie n I will give it, how I wish she was here with me, (with tears) I love her so much
P: control yourself, everything happens for good
A: she used to say same thing
Few days after coming from hospital, At home
Abhi almost cried," baap re, she is doing more putty then susu," he bends toward her, lifts her legs to clean n she does putty on his face, (he was to close) oh god pls help, n starts crying, n cleaning her at same time, next day Pari was crying may be due to colic, but Abhi also started crying with her after sometime he heard," what kind of father you are?? Instead of pacifying her you also started crying, who does that?? Try feeding her, check her diaper or is she hungry" making puppy face, he replied,"you don't teach me ok, first you left me n now you are arguing with me not fair" ( he would image her, when he got stuck, n don't know what to do)
Finally day arrived, when he announced about Pari, in media, n told Pragya was her mother, who died while giving birth, everybody were shocked, they question him why didn't he mansion about her n why didn't he disclose anything, they even ask to show Pragya pic, but All Abhi said its personal n he didn't wanted to keep it as personal
N days past, then months n years, abhi indeed was great father as Pragya wanted him to be, Pari was copy of Pragya, beautiful, clam n but when somebody lie to her than God save him/her from Pari, she grow up mostly seeing, Abhi gets happy when he reads her mothers mails, so she also started sending mails on her id daily, today she was also connected to Pragya,
Pls don't hate me for this kind of ending, there can not be always happy ending, true love never dies
