The guy's character is so different from the other shows and is refreshing. He seems familiar. Has he been on some other show before?

I liked the promos of this show, as well as it's opening scene - in a kaun banega crorepati hall. And talking of the promos, I liked the theme as well - that of a girl who's practical, and more money minded, rather than the usual pyaar theme (although I don't expect it to last). Just caught the entire first week's episodes yesterday, anddid like them.

The Nikita Malik character creeped me out, and now, she turns out to be the mom of Tushar. 🤢 What's happened to the dad - is he dead? The dadaji is really harsh - the flashback scene where he scolds the kid who has a cut finger and prioritizes on scolding the maid. And almost driving Tushar to suicide.

Anhoki (sp?) has spunk, and she'll need all of it and more in dealing w/ her boss, who's presumably one day become her sa'as. 🤢 Unless they decide to sabotage the leads. Unlike in other serials where the lead guy is strong and capable of protecting his girlfriend/wife from his evil family, here, Tushar is really mentally frail, while good natured (reminds me of Tom Cruise from some movie I forgot) and looks like he'd have to be protected by Anhoki, and can only protect her from chipkalis 😆 Granted, there's something electric going on b/w them (is there that much static in Delhi?), but wonder whether that'll be enough

One compatibility is already there b/w them - Anhoki's family is desperate for money (who ain't? 😆) and mom at least wants her to marry into a rich family. Tushar's family - his dadaji is a miser and his mom is excessively status conscious. And she's already off to a rocky start w/ Anhoki, and can't stand her. And poor Anhoki may have to become a vegetarian if she marries into the Maliks.

And stuff sticks for weird reason -- not just because I liked the show!! 😆😆

As for this show -- The actress needs a lot of improvement as the character looks forced in some places. After the first few episodes, I think CVs have a clear idea of the character but the execution is lacking.

They have created this suspense on the guy's side and hopefully the answers are going to reasonable - Mother and grandparents don't seem to be a part of the same family. Tusshar will definitely need protection. His treatment in his own house is baffling. His mother treats him like a husband. How can his grandfather hate him so much? Let's see how Anokhi and Tusshar end up together.
