Shilpa Anand(Sivanand) is an Indian Actress.She Started her career from modelling and starred in seveal South Indian Movies.She did many advertisements on Indian television including the famous Shanti Badaam Amla Advertisement.

She rose to fame throughout India after starring as the lead in the famous show Dill Mill Gayye on Star One which is a sequel to the hit television show Sanjeevani-A Medical Boon. Dill Mill Gayye Is based on American Television Programmes Grey's Anatomy and Scrubs .In this show Shilpa plays the lead role.

She has also stepped in Bollywood and has a movie under production named Iqraar..By Chance.

She told in an interview that she loves the sound of sea waves.

wikipedia is web encyclopedia that is based on contributions from anybody who is interested. so you and i can log into wiki and write about us and we would have an entry there. though i don't know how many people would actually be interested in reading about you or me....

what would be genuinely credible is an IMDB entry....

the internet movie database is IMDB. it covers practically anybody who is somebody in the field of entertainment and it is maintained by a specific group of people. she may even be on it, but will have no or little information listed for her.

wiki is quite reliable for some articles because on any subject, one can edit information, if you feel you have something to add or correct. but one cannot determine popularity based on a mention in wiki for the reasons stated above!!!
