Sarabjit grossed 7 crore nett in its second week to take its two week total to 26 crore nett. The film is a little better in Delhi / UP and East Punjab but the latter will not even do 5 crore nett business so despite being better even in Punjab the film has not really found appreciation. The film will do limited business from here on and is a flop.
The new releases of the week were much worse than even Sarabjit with Veerapan grossing around 7 crore nett, Phobia around 2.75 crore nett and Waiting around 2 crore nett. The opening was dull and so was the appreciation, Phobia and Waiting showed growth but that is expected from very low opening numbers.
Veerapan is out of most theaters while Phobia and Waiting have a show at some select multiplexes. All three films will hardly had any business after the third week.
