My top Manirathnam Sir faves in this order.

Naayagan (The Indian Godfather, who can beat this)
Mouna Raagam (still one of the best urban movies - classic)
OK Kanmani (Finally after so long a great Mani Sir film)
Anjali
Roja
Kannathil Muthamitaal
Bombay
Dil Se
Aayutha Ezhuthu (definitely superior to Yuva IMO)
Geethanjali
Thalapathi

Manirathnam should never have worked with Abhishek. Some of his worst films are with Abhi and Ash IMO.

Anjali that movie about that little girl is a Ratnam movie?? Damn I loved that movie, ah that song "Anjali Anjali Anjali, pyaari Anjali
Angali Angali"

Also what was the name of that movie with Madhavan, in which he takes the girl to Sri Lanka to meet her mother?? That was a brilliant movie.

Him and Ash make a terrific team, hope to see them work more together. Hope the spy film they planned takes off.

Naayagan was a Ratnam movie??? Than Naayagan handsdown.
Damn never realised he had such a great body of work.

Also I don't think Abhishek was the problem, the movies sucked simply, Abhishek was excellent in both Guru and Yuva.

Disagree. Iruvar and Guru both were tremendously acclaimed films. Raavanan was well received esp. in the west. I think Ash and MR made a terrific combo.
