Who is this guy ? Another TV guy I assume ? The lives of TV actors seem more rangeela than the serials they act. 😆

While this topic is essentially wrongly placed here (cause last I checked SS has no BW connection), please read on for my two cents.

Before you proceed - I am born and brought up in Indonesia (relocated to a different place now, parents still live there so I go home every other month). ALL their shows are horrible (everyone is shrill and overacts) and very few of their films are actually worth watching, like a few biopics.

Indonesians are OBSESSED with BW. Like I have memories growing up and walking around malls where salespersons would get all excited on seeing me cause of my Indian features and they'd be all "Kajol!" and "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (that's their FAAAVORITE BW movie).

So ANTV wasn't doing too well, and someone in their team got an idea to dub a couple of Indian shows in the local lingo. They picked up Mahadev (LOK) and Mahabharat (SP) and bam - MB became a cult hit in Indonesia. The popularity went crazy, and they even remade the show featuring Indo actors (friend of mine essayed the role of Kunti if I am not wrong). The actors (Pandavas and Krishna and Duryodhan) came down for a few promotional events, and while that happened, many of them got offers for shows and movies. Shaheer and I think the dude who played Krishna (Saurabh??) got movies, Rohit Bharadwaj hosted a few shows, and stuff like that. Same time, Shaheer met Ayu and the two hit it up, so Indonesians began to ship those two and his popularity went crazy high. Ayu happens to be a popular singer/host in Indo. So yeah, then they telecasted Navya (another SS show) and that got popular too.

Indonesians have a funny obsession with Indians are are very fond of our food and culture. There is also a thriving Indian-Sindhi community in Indonesia (they came around the time of Partition and are almost Indonesian now, many of them only speak Indonesian and Sindhi, can't even speak English/Hindi), not to mention a large Indian expatriate community. So obviously, all these Indian actors who go down get loads of bhaao from the masses which is how these actors meet these girls and well, start dating.

Nice to meet a Bollywood fan from Indonesia.

That Raid and Redemption series is very good.I watched few other movies like that four friends who did mountain climbing.

Also story of that Indonesian scientist who became president.That movie.

Erm should've been clearer - I'm an Indian born and raised in Indonesia? Haha! And oh trust me Indonesians are CRAAAZY fond of Bollywood. Oh yes, they do have a few nice movies, like a few biopics and some based on historical events, those are lovely :)

So they dubbed Navya to cash Shaheer's popularity ? Hmmm that's why Somya - Shaheer Jodi also has many fans in indo

Gosh they r so crazy , obsessed and the way they love and bash ...

90% comments on Shaheer's Insta are in Indonesian ...it annoys his Indian fans ...pata hi nahin chalta bashing kar rahe hain ke praise 😆 ...they even start arguing with Indian fans in Indonesian ... They even tweet Erica in Indonesian, mostly I see Ayu ting ting name in the comments to Erica 😆

Clearly it was ANTV who suggested Shaheer- ayu to fake this dating bcz they both used to get huge rating together

Now looks like they r trying to do the same with Shivin and Jessica ( I think she is also a singer )

I have no clue but Shaheer looks like a nice guy.. He's pretty serious.. I don't think he would've ditched her.. I know Vin Rana is now married to some Indonesian lady and she lives in India I think with him.. Who even knew these people?? 😆
