It certainly help in creating film buzz, small films are in limelight b/c of it, which went unnoticed in earlier decades.

it can create buzz but not enough to get cash registers ringing...still TV Radio n newspaper these media in INDIA have a stronger reach than social media despite being the latter achieving stronger base day by day

I dont know about other social media but IF is definitely affecting TV industry. directors/Production houses will take inputs(read as copies) from XYZ actor's fans from IF and cook kichidis acc to their(fans) taste😆
