What are your thoughts on the Zincinati Zoo incident? I strongly believe that the mother should be charged for child endangerment and death of an endangered species. Her negligence cost a poor animal its life and nearly cost her own sons life and hence she should be accountable. I dont think the child fell into the enclosure it more looks like the kid walked past many barriers while her mother was not paying attention to him at all. I do feel that the zoo had no choice but to shoot him because throwing bananas or diverting its mind wouldnt have been enough.
Harambae was still somebody's bae and didnt deserve to be shot down infront of its partner due to stupidity of a human. Nobody deserves to die such a haram maut and get halal-ofied because the mom was too busy not giving a shit about its baby and poor harambae had to pay for her mistakes.

It is painful watching this video whole day on TV
I am surprised what parents were doing that time?
They need to be charged --Feeling sad for Gorilla --who lost his life:(

I am thinking why security did not removed public from the site
those screaming shouting also made the animal more agitated
Very sad day

Didn't the security has tranquility guns ?

Yes, its stupidity of supreme human that has cost life of innocent Gorilla. But what can a poor animal locked up by humans do ?
I think Jungle Raaj is still prevalent in this world, be it case like this or in business, studies, everywhere.

For an animal of that size it would take atleast 15-20 minutes for even the strongest tranquilizer to work. In the mean time it would enrage the animal and it will tear that kid apart in pieces. Shooting was the right decision no matter how irate I feel on the parents, it wasnt the kids fault and it shouldnt have died.

As much as I am happy that the kid is safe,I am sad for the gorilla losing it's life. It's definitely the mother's fault that she didn't take care of her kid.Kids do get excited seeing zoo animals and they do lot of weird stuff. It's the parents responsibility to control their kids in public places.
The mother should definitely be sued by the zoo authorities as well as child welfare groups for neglecting her child .

Interesting thought. I was thinking on the same likes. How do you feel if the child welfare groups get involved? Should the kid be taken away from the mother then? That would be the likely case. Im on a fence about this. Right now Im irate and want her to suffer. But then a part of me still feels that it would serve no purpose for the kid to be taken away from the mom. Already an animal died, now it would be double whammy. The kid will not do well in a foster home.

Sigh. I would offer a hand to such people, save them and then push them back. One less idiot breathing. I would have even thrown Tanmay into the enclosure so that the gorilla can cuddle up with him and leave the child alone. Tanmay will learn a thing or two about humility. 😆
