I was pondering about how the Memory Loss track is going to play out, and I was kinda torn between whether Swara should be shown regaining her memory; or falling in love with Sanskaar all over again (even without remembering anything of their past).
I'm frankly not sure which option I prefer. On the one hand, there are such a treasure trove of amazingly lovely memories, of the moments they've shared. Each one more intense, passionate, romantic and ethereal than the previous one.
Think of Sanskaar's first drunken love confession---goosebump inducing in its poignant, disarming directness. I still get a tad teary eyed when I hear him speak those immortal words with such intensity. That's something Swara would want to hold on for all eternity, surely? (Even though, at the time, she was completely shocked and unwilling to accept his love).
And what of that wonderful moment post the KC puja, where Sanskaar told her so movingly "Yeh jazbaat hai, Swara. Dil mein dabaya ja sakta hai, mitaya nahi ja sakta". 😳
What of the supremely bittersweet moment when Swara was planning to leave Maheshwari House for the baadi, and though Sanskaar just spoke in his mind, the agonized, heartfelt "I'll miss you, Swara"...She heard him speaking in his thoughts...
Those memories of his dreamy, romantic proposal after their mutual love confession, their first date, their sagai, their wedding...So many exquisite, invaluable memories, really.
On the other hand, as Friedrich Nietzsche said, "The advantage of a bad memory is that one enjoys several times, the same good things for the first time." 😛 😉
Sunny boy is going to woo his biwi back, no doubts about that. 😳 ☺️ So this way, Swara gets to fall in love with her husband all over again---and no amount of interference and conniving by that thick skulled, manipulative bloke is going to change that. 😈 😈
This has a certain charm of its own, in a way. Imagine, Swara gets to experience all over again, the first time they confess their love to each other. The first time they go on a date. The first time her heart races when Sanskaar holds her hand, or drapes an arm around her protectively. The first time they kiss. The first time they...well, you know where I'm going with this, right? 😳 ☺️
Of course, for Sunny boy, this will all be a "duplicate first time" of the moments they've shared. But I somehow don't think he would mind having 2 first kisses with his wife. 😆 😉 Or any of the other "duplicate first times" for that matter.
So what do you think guys? Swara to remember, or not? Forget me not, or Building new memories (and first times)? 😃 Do share your views!
Loads of Love (and in devout anticipation of Sahil-cloud less SwaSan moments! 😉)
