19. Rock,Paper,Scissors

"Shravaaan." She whined as she shook his sleeping form.
"Ugh Sumo, let me sleep na. I have a case tomorrow."
"I want to sleep too! The neighbors are being noisy."
"Really?" He said sarcastically. "I can't hear them over your voice."
"Go and tell them to shut the music down, I cannot bear it."
"You are the one who has trouble sleeping, you go and tell them."
"I went over yesterday to tell them not to steal our newspaper and milk, It your turn!" She retorted angrily.
"No, I told them off for scratching my car. I won't go."
"Rock Paper Scissors?"
"What are we five?!"
"Do you have a better idea on how to settle this?"
"Argh okay! On three. One, two, three." They both made a fist and bumped it in the air three times.
"W*F is that?" He exclaimed, squinting at the gesture she made.
"Fire. Fire beats everything."
Rolling his eyes and muttering under his breath as to why he made her watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S in the first place, he donned his slippers and went to confront their really annoying neighbors. They never should have moved in an apartment.
"Happy?" He said as he came back after enduring a very irritating conversation.
"Hmm, yeah. Thanks."
"Thaankkss" He repeated, mocking her.
"Hey! For better or worse remember?"
"Experience worst next time."
"Yeah-yeah, good night."
"Mmh-hmmm."

I read in a book a new version of rock ,paper scissor where the hero cheated by making a fist and then taking out his first finger saying that its a dynamite which can blast everything in his way and he won the game.. 😆

I was going to add in the Big-Bang-Theory's Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock and then realised itne raat ko their brains wont function utna zyada😆

20.Books V/S Movies

He tore a piece of chappati and dipped it in his favorite sev ki sabzi and said "But Books are more interactive! They challenge your brain and help you with your vocabulary and what not! Sev ki sabzi acchi bani hai"
"As if movies are not interactive! It was designed so that people can actually and easily process things. And it is so less time consuming! And thank you, har din acchi hi banti hai"
"Oh please, movies barely graze a person's thought process, books actually make you think! But of course, lazy people prefer movies anyways." He removed another layer of dabba and was pleasantly surprised to find aamras. He dug in eagerly.
Suman gasped indignantly. "Watch your mouth Mr. I am not lazy!"
Shravan rolled his eyes as he poured out a glass of water for himself. "You are the epitome of laziness. Yesterday you shrieked the house down while calling me to come and hand you the remote that was clearly two feet away! All the way from our room!"
Suman blushed, embarrassed "That was because I was very tired yesterday; it does not mean I am lazy!" She finished somewhat lamely, knowing he could list out countless instances where she refused to move an inch. "Besides, we are getting off topic."
"Yeah-uh. Books are always better than movies because movies disappoint. The page to screen transition is not always perfect, it lacks in certain things, a charm if you will."
"You would say that wouldn't you? You were grounded from reading, not TV." She rolled her eyes at what a great nerd her husband was.
"Nerd nai, geek, there is a difference. Accha, break is almost over, I have to go now. And stop rolling your eyes at me, I can sense you."
Suman huffed. "This argument is not over! Meet you at home then."
"Honey, it is my profession to argue with people. You are going to lose sorely. Bye, Love you."
"We will see. Love you too."
And with that both of them cut their calls. Shravan went to the washroom to wash his hands and came back to find her text on his phone that made him laugh out loud
It said- "Reading erotica v/s Visual po*nography. Naked people, FTW"
You can't argue with that, he thought.

I googled to get some brownie points for movies since I couldn't make a good argument for it. The last point is very compelling, I must say.😆
