Suman peered groggily at her cell phone, her mind immediately alert as she registered the caller id. She shot up in her bed and switched on her night light. He was supposed to be at his bachelor's party, why was he calling her at 3 in the morning?
"Hello?" She spoke hesitantly.
"Suman?" Said a groggy voice at the other end of the phone.
"Yeah?" She could her loud music in the background and also Pushkar fighting with Shravan for his phone.
"Dude! You are at your bachelor's party! At least abhi tou don't call her."
"Oi shut up!" She could hear Shravan shouting drunkenly. "I am trying to tell the love of my life that I love her!" She could hear Pushkar tsking in the background.
"So Suman, look here." Shravan was back on the phone. "I think you are pretty cool." He said, referring to the time he tried asking her out.
Suman laughed as she settled back into her bed. "Yeah?" She asked, encouraging him to talk further as she switched off her lamp.
