"Shit shit shit" He muttered as he hurriedly put on a sock while Sumo put a piece of toast between his lips and went and sat on the dining table, unfolding the newspaper.
"Thanks" he said, his voice muffled by the breakfast he was struggling to eat.
"Sumooo." He called out, "Did you see that brown file for my Kashap case? Also, did you see my damned bow-tie?"
"File is in the cabinet beside our bed and bow-tie on the dresser." She said calmly, sipping her ice tea.
"f**k f**k f**k" He muttered as he ran upstairs, his long legs taking two steps at a time. He hoped against hope that the traffic wouldn't be as bad as everyday. She stood up and started clearing the table of the plates.
"I am late, will call you in the lunch time." He shouted and she heard the door bang close.
Sumo counted mentally as she stood in the living room with plates in both her hands.
The door opened again as he came back in, looking apologetic.
"Sorry" He muttered as he pecked her lips. "Love you, bye."
She smiled as she shook her head. "All the best. And take out the garbage."
