If only there was an explanation for all this...the world would be a better place! And yes...this is true for all countries!

Abhi tak...in this world there is such a thing as female feticide...toh you can understand the type of mindset people have towards the girl child! Girls being killed even before they are born to them getting the same pay as men...time toh lagega na! Sigh!

All my life I have heard my dad say...I have 2 hands...so do you...I have 2 legs...1 brain...two eyes...and so do you...if we have been created equals...there is nothing that I can do but you can't!

Also, I have this weird sort of thinking...when men are over polite...like they open doors or you...or carry shopping bags...it just sort of irritates me...I don't see the point in all this! Though some women really value such chivalrous acts! I feel like it feeds their superiority complex!

Yes most of us have supportive partners, so we have no issues. Even my Dad always supported my mum's career. He just sometimes used to find it tough if she was away on writing seminars etc. Even he had a successful career when we were kids in the civil service. Same applies to my husband. We both are working and it can be challenging at times to manage work/life balance. But we try and we succeed most of the time. Never had an issue attending work events as my hubby never makes an issue out of any of it, even if he is not invited. (Coz a lot of work events don't include partners these days).

But TRUST and leaving false ego aside is the main thing. If your a "secure" person, your partners success should be something to celebrate not something to feel insure and inferior over. Ramnath proved what a petty and cheap person he is, who can't seen beyond a woman's femininity to her ability as an individual. He insults his wife by implying her boss promoted her because of a personal agenda and not her ability as an employee! It was so disgusting to see him insulting her like that. Makes you cringe. He deserves a slap and also for Shravan to really give him a piece of his mind. He LIED to his son and even now lying to him. He has poisoned his son's mind and now wondering why he is so bitter? He has a lot to answer for and men like him are the problem! It's because of men like him that women never get their due in life! Why even after achieving things women are made to feel inferior!

We are just as good as the next man. Sometimes we are smarter and faster than them! So why pay them more? Why promote them more? Why feel a Mother is not a good employee coz she has kids in her care, but a man who is also a Father is never thought of as having a handicap by having kids? The hypocrisy and double standards are shocking, even in this day and age. I can personally vouch, a guy in my team who was probably 26 at the time used to call in sick more than me or any of my female colleagues did, even when a few of us were pregnant! Being Mothers we neve milked it to call in sick. But some guys used to party and get drunk and call in sick the next day! I am a better employee today with ALL my responsibilities than I was when I first hit the workforce as a new Grad. I was a good employee then, I am even a better one now with 100 more responsibilities on my plate now!

Very well said i agree with your all points.👏

I hope no one takes offence I mean this a good way. A housewife is the best employee you can have. Why? Because she is the one who wakes up first in the house and sleeps lasts in house. Now think about such a women in a workplace!! Wouldn't that actually be good? because she know how to balance all!!

Yes I know it will change but it will take time as all takes time. But if there was a logical explanation to this had been better. It's like most of Indian to shows logic less 😆

someone HAD MENTIONED ABOUT 18% WOMEN IN TOP POSITIONS THAT ALSO HAS A REASON..!
AKA COMPANIES ACT HAS MADE IT MANDOTARY TO HAVE ONE DIRECTOR IN THE BOARD. IN MOST OF THE CASES THIS % IS BECAUSE OF REQUIREMENT OF LAW & NOT ON THE BASIS OF TALENT.. I AM SAYING THIS BECAUSE I HAVE AUDITED COMPANIES AND I HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPENING...

And not just him my Dadaji was the same, when my Daadi was working he would be at home and clean and make your that my dad, uncles and my aunt had eaten and he cooked himself which made dad learn cooking to. So it's not a bad thing.

I feel the person who knows how to cook and has a job Is independent bcs that's a thing you need in life to survive. Than I have also seen people which are MCPs and that's terrible.

I agree , Most men are MCPS ..I being a man myself , so happy that my parents didn't teach me to make any stereotypes as your personality . It is more difficult if you are not straight
