In every tv show, we always see the male lead to be a jerk and the female lead to be little miss goody-two shoes and I always hope the female lead grow a spine and dump the male lead.
But in this show, I hope the male lead dumps the female lead and move on. I have rarely seen a female character portrayed as lead who is as annoying, whiny and useless as Roshni.
1. First she rebels against her mom because she is busy earning money and decides to marry a poor guy.
How much money she earned you ask? None. She does charity with her mom's money she claims to hate.
2. Then she finds out the guy she loves is rich and she dumps him. Fair enough. But then she agrees to marry Yash, who is also rich. Errrm what?
3. Eventually she patches up with her husband. But circumstances causes her mom to die because her husband chose to save her instead of her mom. So she blames the guy who had no option instead of blaming herself for existing and causing her own mom to die. I wonder if she had to choose between Simran and Sid, would she ever had chosen Simran. I doubt it.
4. Then she changes her name, fakes her death instead of asking for divorce like any other honest person, who wants to live a separate life and wants the other to have a life too.
5. But when she sees another woman with the same guy whom she dumped like soiled tissue, she gets so jealous that she repeats Yash episode part 2 and agrees to get engaged to the new guy.
6. Now she is crying while getting her husband and so-called love beaten up. It looks like an abusive person crying after beating another person black and blue. The abuser is still an abuser.
This is the kind of woman who gives other woman a bad name. Showing her as female lead is like showing a jerk man as male lead. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
