Sushant Singh Rajput had best film as a newcomer

This is going to be an unpopular opinion but he might not be an impressive actor right now but damn he was absolutely fantastic in his debut!


Arjun Kapoor had one of the best debuts I have seen! Ayushmann next, then Ranveer & Imran!

Ranbir who is one of the best had the worst! 😆

OT: Ranveer, Arjun Kapoor, Imran Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput all had an excellent debut but I pick Veer cause he was so unappealing when I first saw him but after seeing BBB I had to change my mind and accept ki kuch toh baat hain iss bande mein😃

Ranveer & Bira. I couldn't stand Veer when he debuted, I thought he was too ott & intolerable (I can't believe too now, ya 😆 ) but he was impressive from GET-GO! He was extremely convincing & lived & breathed Bitto Sharma. One can easily feel & might even have bumped into a Bitto Sharma at one point or the other.


But Bira edges him out a little for me. From the first frame to the last, he brought out the shades of love so subtly & beautifully for a debutante! From that first flush of love's innocence, to the simmering jealousy (burning Sonam's letters to Salman on the bridge) to just his endeavour to keep Sonam's emotionally manipulative & innocently seductive Sakeena, happy.. He was super. The minute the movie ended I remember turning to my friend & saying, "the lead actress is beautiful but the lead actor is not only a STAR but will be one of the best actors around for years!!!!"


Bira, for sure, though Veera was equally impressive.
