Sidhant doesn't owe anyone anything. I think it's really immature to ask him to stay in a show, a character merely because you like that character or show. Yes, you are a fan and yes you have a right to be upset but you have NO right to act as if you own a actor's career. Many claim to unconditionally love him...unconditional love does not mean love only when you are in a character or show I like...it means support for all his endeavors. Yes, you may not think his new project is worth it or successful but true support indicates making him aware and supporting him through his decision.
Sidhant believes this next project is big for him. He is clearly distressed, though, at his outlook. Now is NOT the time to add more stress to his life. An actor is an artist, a performer who has the FULL right to experiment and explore with their artist capabilities even if it means changing shows.
With that being said, despite leaving this show, I do have a soft spot for Kunj so I will miss seeing him as Kunj. However, thinking practically, there is only so much that can occur in this show so perhaps it is time for him to move on to different projects.
Of course, this isn't meant to attack anyone but I know many will come at me so...I shall wait for that with a fitting reply in mind.
