JandA are rather nervous as Meghna puts on the DVD player, though they are trying not to show it. The rest of the family settles itself comfortably on sofas, chairs and the carpet. Vedika is now leaning against Angel, trying to control her giggles.
When the player starts showing the videos, JandA realise that they contain "candid shots" of them in various funny situations.
There is one of Armaan struggling to change Ashish's diaper. He reads the instructions at the back of the pack, then looks blankly at the diaper, then tries to fold and attach it and when the end result makes Ashish look like some kind of superbaby with his diaper flying out like a cape, in despair consults the instructions again. "Damn damn damn!" Then he sees his son looking wide-eyed at him, and bites his tongue. "Sorry, sorry son….maine jo abhi kaha wo sab delete kar do!"
There is a burst of laughter round the room. Jassi gives Armaan a look exactly like the one Ashish had given him in the video. Armu blushes beetroot red and hides his face in her dupatta.
The next one shows Armu struggling with Vedika's maths homework. He puzzles over the sums, chews the pencil (till Vedika takes it away with a disgusted expression), chews his nails in lieu of the pencil and then mutters, "Ye LCM aur HCF mujhe ab kaise yaad honge…..pata nahin school mein main kiski notebook se copy kiya karta tha…."
Jassi looks at Armu. He looks right back and shrugs his shoulders. "Tumhe LCM aur HCF nahin aata?" she whispers in horror.
Armu: Mere liya HCF ka matlab hai, Her Cute Face (his hands stray automatically to her face, but she flicks them away, gazing warily round) aur LCM ka….
Jassi: Stop, stop….mujhe nahin jaanna….! (blushes)
In the next video, Armu is trying his best to plait Vedika's hair. "Maine uss din Jassi ke baalon ki toh plait banayi thi….lekin wo single plait thi….yahaan do choti banaa ki ribbon lagaana hai….kaise hoga….."
Vedika: Papa….jaldi karo na…..mujhe school ke liye der ho jayegi…..
Armu: Beta, I think you better go to Dadi….ye mere bas ki baat nahin….
Vedika leaves the room and Armu heaves a sigh of relief. "Jassi…come back soon na!"
Jassi: (glaring at Armu) Achcha, toh tum sirf issliye mujhe miss kar rahe the….
Raj: Ahem! Ye aapko kitna miss kar rahe the, ye iss agle video se saaf zaahir hota hai…
The next one is has apparently been taken by the wily Raj in Kangra. JandA, blissfully unaware that there could be a camera following them, are walking hand-in-hand in the woods, whispering sweet nothings. Then they stop, and Armu pulls out a toffee from his pocket.
Jassi: (pouting) Sirf ek?
Armu: Isse k se hi toh pyaar badhta hai!
He puts the piece in Jassi's mouth, then moves in to claim his "share". The camera discreetly stops recording at this moment.
Jassi gets up suddenly and rushes out of the room.
Vedika: (puzzled) Lekin papa, toffee Mamma kha rahi toh aapko kaise mil sakti thi….
Armu glares at Raj and starts singing—"Dost dost na raha…!"
