Just can't compare then and now. Didn't the circumstances change? Neither of them is right at their point nor wrong.

I think if raman is in pain, his monologue should be clarified properly.because the way he is presented at present there is no agony is shown in him rather than a degenerated rkb is coming out regularly. I find him a big egoistic,demagogue,foolish person. He is big egoistic because he completely doesn't want to accept his gigantic mistake that he did 7 years age that was compelled to leave everyone. He is demagogue of his own life where other members of his family have no right to talk about their pros n cons,what they want specially adi who raman has made his punching bag for pouring his so called anger. He is a big foolish because he never tries to win his inner good quality over his vulgar tongue as if he ever tried to recall past mishap calmly he might get that he had liability behind ruhi's death. However,it's also not clarified to me in what kind of guilty he had been for last 7 years? If he was in guilty why he strictly inhibited his family members to take ishita's name? Why did he slap adi for recalling ishita? Why did he keep pihu in complete dark about her real mother? Why he did keep rival type relationship with his sasural if he was really guilty n understood due to his nasty accusation ishita did suicide? Frankly Raman is confused role as like as his 1st wife sagun. So his monologue should be clarified more on exactly what's he wanting n he thinking about ishita!!!

there's no point of bringing the comparison and gettin' yourself hurt...do you think the character is still intact and you are watching the same man you watched a decade ago or do you think you can ever in any way can justify/explain the latter's actions!...no..and if you think you can then Its just the fact that you're possessed by IshRa and cant just stop watching them...therefore you need to convince a point to yourself!
