Niranjan is probably silent bcoz most of the times his mind works as a neutral judge & he has rationally realised in what a pit Sagar has befallen this time. Sagar may have admitted for either of the two reasons:- 1) We have seen how terribly guilty he is feeling for Jhanvi's death. He had already made up his mind in hospital to accept his guilt in order to set everything right for his family as if, that would lessen their trouble if he is jailed /sentenced to death. He is not in the right state of mind. Further, we know very well how emotional he can get in difficult situations. 2) I don't know which witness Jhanvi's father's lawyer is going to produce next. Is he the pandit performing the satyanarayan puja, or the registrar appointed by Sagar for his marriage to Jhanvi? Bcoz both of them have got the idea that Sagar is in love with some other woman. In fact, the registrar knows about the sindoor incident and he witnessed how Sagar humiliated Gangaa that day. If they appear in the court to speak against Sagar then probably Gangaa will automatically get involved and in order to save her reputation Sagar may decide to sacrifice.
