Happy 3rd Wedding Anniversary TO Arjun n Neha

Love at first sight, in our age and time, sounds like a foreign concept, doesn't it? But time and again, some love stories come up which restore our faith in fairytale romances. The love story of Telly world's hottie, Arjun Bijlani and his beautiful wife, Neha Swami is one such tale.

For them it really was love at first sight

Arjun and Neha saw each other for the first time at a party and the Miley Jab Hum Tum star was instantly awestruck by the very gorgeous, Neha. A common friend introduced them and Arjun was highly impressed by Neha's simplicity. He fell completely in love with her there and then, but Neha being a reserved person, took her time to open up to him.

As they recall their initial meeting, Arjun says:

"We met through a common friend at a party. I found her sweet-looking and innocent. The best thing I like about her was her simplicity; that's mainly what attracted me to her."

Neha says this about the first meeting with her beloved husband:

"For Arjun it was love at first sight. However, it wasn't the case for me since I was shy and reserved. After a few meetings, we became good friends. Then we started meeting often, and finally started to go out."

After a few meetings, which were casual, Arjun proposed to her perfect girl who took a while to say yes. Wedding bells followed their 8-year long courtship and the couple tied the knot on 20 May, 2013.

The grand, fairytale wedding and reception

Their wedding celebrations were magical! The sangeet ceremony took place on May 19, 2013, amidst all their friends and family members. Everyone enjoyed the music, dance, and mehendi.

The couple had a very traditional wedding that took place at the Isckon Temple in Juhu, Mumbai, and followed all the rituals of a Hindu wedding.

The newly married couple hosted their wedding reception the next day at The Hilton, Mumbai. Since Arjun had many friends in the entertainment industry, the reception was a grand affair. About Arjun's wedding reception, his close friend, actor Kinshuk Mahajan said:

"Arjun is a close friend, and the wedding was celebrated in a grand way. I was present at the sangeet and also at the reception. Arjun knows quite many people in the industry and the reception was a huge gathering of friends and well-wishers."

Their journey from partners to parents

The couple welcomed their first child, Ayaan, in January 2015, and are now enjoying the perks of parenthood.

On becoming a father, a very emotional Arjun exclaimed:

"He (my son) is one lucky charm for me. Ayaan was born in January, and I signed Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi' in March and now it is Naagin'. I guess I'm doing something right. He has brought in so much positivity into my life."

Arjun is a shopaholic and Neha believes that he can shop till he drops. Arjun is also a romantic at heart. The self-confessed romantic says:

"I am a born romantic. I see romance in everything. I can just come out of the shower and if Neha is just sitting and watching TV, I will sprinkle water on her or when she is cooking I will just swirl her. These kind of actions are called typical filmy but it is such things that we all enjoy."

The couple has been together for a very long time and it is reasonable that they have their take on the things that they like and hate about each other.

When asked about the same, Arjun says:

"I love that Neha is caring but this also has a downside. Because she is good-natured as a person, she tends to think the same about others. So she never makes herself the priority."

Neha on the other hand points out:

"Arjun's best quality is that he is always ready to help people. One annoying habit has to be that he watches only news channels when he is at home."

Arjun and Neha are irrevocably in love with each other and we love them in return, for giving us some serious relationship goals. They are enjoying marital and parental bliss to the fullest. We hope that their relationship grows stronger each day!
