Abhi of course cares about the baby or else Tannu would not have come this along. He may not care like a baby daddy because he never felt so but as a human being he does. No wonder he keeps coming up with ideas to get divorce from Pragya.

He has clearly said he is in love with Pragya but has to and wants to marry Tannu for all these months now. What is the point? Everyone works against his plots. If he brings Fuggy back out of Pragya for good may be she will realize his dilemma and help him.

In the context you gave, he wants Pragya. And he wants Pragya to tell him she loves him too. He wants his old life with Pragya back.

I think the reason Abhi does not have a clue about baby daddy stuff is- he will solve the track in a week if he did. Remember a recent epi where he made the police let Purab and Aakash go at the lawyer's office? Likewise if he realizes Tannu is playing him with the baby he will fix it himself too quick.

But they didn't have to show Pragya fails despite everything served to her on a silver plate. Like she knows Tannu's lie, Aaliyah's plot etc, yet her team loses more than the villains (and it's not Pragya fighting alone, the whole KB is supporting her sans villains). So I don't see much fun in showing how she exposed lol. But yeah I don't care who exposes,
