Lead swap - pre-planned or sudden?

After today's episode I would say that the lead swap is almost done. Appu does not flinch at the thought of killing Malay though she may have a change of heart later on.

I wondered if this was pre-planned as it takes time to audition, select, and launch a new character onscreen, especially someone who is new and is playing a lead. This show is hardly a month old and they could not have found a new lead in a few days. Plus initial promos said that the lead was a new face. Actress playing Appu is not a new face.

It is also a new trend in TV show that one lead enters the show after a month or even later. Only one lead is introduced initially.

We may or may not accept the new girl as the lead, but this may have been pre-planned not TRP driven. If it was TRP driven, the new lead would have been someone with a fan following so that they could at least count on an initial TRP bump.

i dnt thnk its preplanned..dey promoted the stry as a anokhi lustry of vishkanya..how evnthough she is vishkanya,all she wnts is 2 liv nrmal lyf with luv of her lyf nd how is it impossible...den new gal doesnt fit into the bill at all

I am wondering as well. Coz the concept is new and at the time slot isn't very good. So already zee and the cvs would know that it would take time for the audience to get hooked to the show. So its probably a pre planned move and nothing more. Normally its always the males that are swapped here its the opposite so freaking awful

Very nice analysis. I also think what you wrote is the fact though few days back I thought TRP was the reson 4 introducing new characters and a new lead.

And again I am saying that I am liking the new gal and I hope she will make a good pair with Malay.

I am liking the new girl too but I don't understand what the director is trying to show when she stares at Malay with that stupid smile. Other than that I have found her to be sufficient for now. Every new person needs a little time to adjust and improve.

Lines in bold...true.They should stop showing such scenes for Veda.Otherwise as a fresh face she is good...and I hope with her present track she will surely do better.

BTW all I am thinking how the story will move now...as Vishal is killed so none is there to inform Nandita about Kalpana being Harsh's second wife.

I am eager to see how Vishal's killing investigation will be shown.
