That what happens to ex heroines. Bollywood isn't too kind and their shelf life is very short sadly.

It started with MNIK. KJo should not have cast either Kajol or SRK in that film. Casting SRK-Kajol and then putting the focus on some other issue is a crime, and KJo did it.

Dilwale.. I think a lot of people were already preempting the result, but some hoped that he could recreate the Chennai Express like chemistry at least.. but alas.

There was chemistry in Chennai express. 😲. All I saw was trying to recreate DDLJ. Deepika looked like his daughter. SRK sleep walked in CE for me, it succeeded because of Deepika much as it pains me to say it. She was absolutely phenomenal as Meenama. SRK just showed up. To have chemistry one must actually make an effort to act and be in sync with your co-star and I say that as someone who likes SRK a lot. Deepika acted, SRK, no.

Deepika and Ranveer or Deepika and Ranbir have chemistry. SRK-Kajol have chemistry. It has definitely lessened I agree. MNIK he was playing a person with Asperger's. To have chemistry with someone you must be in total sync with each other IMO so unless Kajol was also playing a person with Asperger's it would not have made sense and would have made the movie ridiculous. So the lack of chemistry actually made sense to me.

To answer TM question, no. SRK's market is declining but one thing consistent especially in countries abroad is the SRK-Kajol chemistry so it will happen sooner rather than later. Or perhaps it is me wishing very badly if I am very honest.
