Shah Rukh Khan had better be proud of those six-pack abs he worked on for Om Kapoor's character in Om Shanti Om. He was voted Asia's Sexiest Man by Eastern Eye, Britain's most popular Asian weekly newspaper published by the Ethnic Media Group. Bipasha Basu won the female version of this award. SRK came out on top in a survey where he was pitted against 49 other Asian hotties. We asked SRK for his reaction. He had this to say. "It is as Matt Damon said — its the greatest ego booster for a father of two kids. Being called the sexiest man is truly shocking! I never thought I would hear this in my lifetime. My abs-felt thanks to the voters and no, I don't think I am sexy. Maybe thats what makes me sexy — not being conscious of what I look like. There can't be another reason. It always excites me when Shah Rukh wins an award or gets voted. Though I've always told him that his sex appeal doesn't lie in his six-pack abs but in his amazing screen presence. It's his connectivity to people — maternal, paternal, fraternal — everyone connects to him. People connect to him as a father, son, mother, lover — everything! Though his six-pack abs served as an inspiration to millions of people and he's very sexy I feel that more than Shah Rukh's physicality it's his mind and soul that's way beyond everything else.
