Pragya & Anger

So Pragya decided that sending to jail would not redeem Aliya but sending her away to Australia would be the solution. While I won't do that if I were her, I am not Pragya. I would have been happy if she thought like this when she came back in her new avatar. If she had thought that exposing Aliya in front of Abhi would do no good and Aliya should be changed by some other measures, it would have been apt.

Pragya may have thought that sending Aliya to jail is of no use as she went to jail already and didn't change as she said today. I wonder how her motive of punishing the people responsible for her sister's death changed into redeeming the culprits (may be because she was a family member). I am a little disappointed that she didn't follow that approach for Purvi.

But I don't think she will get angry only for Abhi related issues. I think she will never ever get angry on anyone for a considerable amount of time. Even if someone had harmed or killed (exaggerating) Abhi, I don't think she will avenge the culprit. She blamed herself when Bulbul died. She didn't angry on anyone. All her kumkum dialogues are also not due to anger. It just shows her confidence on her beliefs.

I guess I should see Pragya as Pragya.

On a serious note, has she ever been really angry on someone for a very long time from the start of this show?

it is not just about anger, it is wanting to do right by the people you love. I don't blame pragya for bb's death and I still maintain that it was bb's responsibility for getting entangled in the mess.
the least prags could do is want justice for her.
the only time she jailed alu was when she wronged Abhi, remember the wedding homicide attempt by alu?
pragya didn't want the police to be involved even then!

she doesn't want anyone to harm Abhi, she sent alu to jail for a minor crime for which getting bailed is easy.

but alu confessed to abetting bb's suicide which I think is not a minor offence specially when alu had a history of violence against BB.

yes..very good...as you said we should always see pragya as pragya...and this is pragya...she wants to expose abhi's enemies..but she always thinks about them as humans when it is time for punishment...that is the qualities of pragya..some may understand..some may not...thanks for this post...

Pragya not getting angry is a flaw in her character. Righteous anger is ok, not a bad thing.

Pragya was not angry at Aaliya for BB's death so she must forgive Takhil for harming Sarla maa also.She must just send Tanu out of MM for all the tortures everybody went through👏

but she was OK with alu being sent to jail for committing a crime against Abhi but whenever BB is at the other end, alu is forgiven

what i understood about Pragya is she will never punish anyone who harmed her or her family.. but she will never spare anyone who will try to harm her pati dev..😕

I disagree. Pragya's always stuck to this "I forgive everyone" strategy and it fails everytime. She and Abhi both made the mistake of forgiving Aaliya each time she committed an atrocity. Aaliya has never changed for better. And now Aaliya confessed to killing her SISTER, and she doesn't want her to go to jail. It's super selfish of her. Sarla and Purab suffered a lot after Bulbul's death, and she wants to keep Aaliya, her murderer, roam free. Bulbul's final days were spent in extreme depression. Aaliya has inflicted so much grief upon their family and Pragya still wants to forgive her. IMO, it's naive and foolish. If she forgives her again, Aaliya will be back.

I'm still upset about the death of Bulbul. She was a major character in the show, and because of this ongoing Tanu fiasco, Mrunal had no screen time and had to resign. It's terrible. I miss RaBul dearly.

Now Pragya not sending Aliya to jail looks bad. As I've been saying BB will return. In the long run, when BB returns, Pragya will look bad for sending Aliya to jail for something she did not do. To clear Pragya's name for the future, I think CV's handled it this way. If Aliya was sent to jail and BB returned, then that's it. She'll continuously take revenge on Pragya for the next 100 years. So they better bring BB back.
