Awesome analysis Shruti.

I was thinking how Asad would be dragged into the plan of his friends.
In the episode where they come to know that they have not been selected in the youth festival,Asad tells his friends that they can still see the festival from far.
It was just after this that Yash comes and takes him to the principal's office.

May be Asad will again suggest this to his friends (to cheer them up from his point of view). May be by gatecrashing or sneaking in unnoticed in some way. Asad seems to be of the mischievous type,he may find some way.

And the three decide to carry on their original plan of blasting bomb at India Gate where the Chief Minister would be coming to inaugurate the youth festival.In attempting to do so,when they are caught they will claim that it was Asad's idea of reaching there unauthorized.
