Life is all about wanting one thing or the other, it's what makes us alive! Keeps us living. For want gives us a purpose and to have a purpose driven life is what gives us a sense of worth. Thus life is all about reaching objectives too! that which we realize by using various springboards and methods of obtaining our identified goals .The episode is about using stepping stones to achieve an identified intent. The process is seen as ruthless withoutregard for any moral grounds.Personal gain becomes so hyped up that relationships, humanity are but in name! To feed wanton wants ,even faith is put on the back boiler and peoples backs are climbed over to succeed, by people part of the race!
Bua has always been clear in her mind as to what she intends to put in place. The minor accident is ideal to be used as a stepping stone to dispirit and further shake Dhani's remaining self esteem within her. Meawhile Bua takes the mishap as a means for gaining one step towards gaining Viplav.But Kamini has to be persuaded to stay, and Bua influences her by telling her to read into god's will. Kamini agrees to stay . Viplav meanwhile hitches a ride into town with the three women. Kamini yet again feigns frailty to milk off Viplav's good nature as he assists her to walk to the hitched ride. Bua unashamedly yet again attacks the notion of Dhani being included in the car, cruelly she denounces Viplav's wife by blantantly terming her as inauspicious she 's done enough. For once Viplav speaks up in his wife's defence, what's he meant to do leave her here alone in the jungle..Kamini as usual handles Bua and makes sure Dhani can see that she Kamini pulls the shots!
The shaken lot returns home. Dashrant ,disappointed to see his Bua alive, maintains decorum and calls for medical help which Bua rejects , and yet again maligns Dhani and heaps blame about the accident upon Dhani's presence !! it was bound to happen! as she was with them , had a near miss with death today! she whips up Kanak and Dashrant against Dhani!Bua knows full well , her brother and Kanak are the stepping stones she needs to further disgrace Dhani! buas unholy purpose is to expose at every step Dhani's inaptness in being Viplav's wife! she goes far into saying that seems Dhani will prove ill for Viplav too! Kanak too jumps in and attacks Dhani's being illiterate! can't read a thing! Bua quotes the scriptures there was savitri who went to great lengths to save her husband and there's Dhani who forever seeks ways of killing her husband! Dhani's self esteem is savagely ripped by all.. Kanak goes and brings back early literacy books which she presses in Dhani s hand and mocks at her in ability to read and write! Viplav finally speaks in his wife' defence ,she didn't make the accident happen!it was untoward it happened, best forgotten now. kanak argues with Viplav, will he still continue to stand by the fact that Dhani is illiterate. Dashrant too sneers at Dhani ,she must face reality that she lacks education. Dadi however agrees with Viplav it was an accident ,it's over ,thank god no one got hurt! Viplav feels support coming Dhani's way, and speaks out that's what he s trying to explain to everyone ,that it was an accident! and Dhani didn't do it deliberately , but every one can only see her weaknesses not her strengths! But then Dhani's breaks down under the pressure of low self esteem that Bua, Kanak and Dashrant piled upon her, she admits all are right! it was all her fault and she doesn't deserve to be forgiven! Viplav too reacts , hope every one is happy!and he leaves in a strop! Kanak rants , at the way he reacts. Bau had enough she wants to be left alone to have peace. The scene uses Dhani's illiteracy ,plus her being in auspicious as two stepping stones by Bua to pull Dhani's image down, so the family can see what a misfit ,mismatch she is for Viplav.. but the scene also shows that Dhani continues to be protected by Viplav , he openly and loudly sides her despite Kanak and Bau's attacks. But apart from Dhani .bua needs to check out her spring board Kamini who will ultimately get her to her overall objective..craftily she probes if Kamini's emotions towards Viplav have progressed any further? she primes Kamini, viplav seemed very concerned about her during the accident, she drums it into Kamini's head she can see she's in love with him , that's what s made her stay! Kamini too is smart , she knows the more she plays dumb about Viplav ,and maintains the high moral ground that Viplav is a married man, the more she will get the backing and go ahead of Bua, as
Kamini too has her stepping stone to get to her goal. It's her clean image!the goodly ,comely girl! who is picture perfect always! the ideal wife for Viplav! ..but Bua too will not let go off her pawn Kamini that easily ,she yells Viplav is not married ! he has a hangman's noose around his neck! He loves Dhani !and she out and out disgraces him time and again! her grandson deserves a princess like her, intelligent cultured and smart! today they looked so great as a couple , outsiders would have called them husband and wife and that girl a maid! This is exactly how deceitful Kamini feels, but skilfully she covers her intent as she uses Bua as her spring board to capture Viplav! and to push Dhani out of her way. For the more she plays dumb the more this old bat will be determined to draw comparisons between her and Dhani ,and the more aggressive Bua will get in helping her to push Dhani the obstacle out of her way!sure enough Bua rants on if Dhani had one quality she would accept her as Viplav's wife but since she has no plus points , its time to set things right!kamini needs to overtake Dhani! like she did in the car race!and grab Viplav's hand!Now Kamini too knows she has Bua full support in her devious plans! although Kamini feigns a shocked look she will use Bua as the stepping stone to get her target!
The true devotee surrounded and attacked by sinners! comes before lord Shiva to empty her heart.dhani shares her inadequacies before one she trusts and believes will show her the way..she breaks down..due to her, a disaster would have happened!She has never complained before him, but today she does! why did he disallow her to be literate ? can he not grant her one chance where can rectify this failing? why are others like Bau , Kamini being punished on account of her flaw? She needs the punishment not others! cries a contrite Dhani! This is a positive scene.. as Dhani is hurt , but with the hurt comes the realization that she needs overhauling in terms of being more worthy and useful to herself and others around her .she has the back bone of good strong values ,she now needs to brush up on life skills!
The fowler sneaks at the right time when the vulnerable animal is ready to be devoured. Dhani is already tender at this point and she easily confides in Kamini that she hates being illiterate as it might make Viplav ashamed of her, although he would never say that to her!dhani wishes she was educated like Kamini! Then she would be a suitable match for Viplav!dhani tells her she wants to learn .. Kamini finds her springboard to success !educating Dhani to get to viplav! the idea already turns out to be a winner!asViplav walks into their conversation where Kamini commits to educating Dhani! Viplav compliments Kamini she truly sets a great example in this household! Dhani thanks her from the bottom of her heart.. Bua walks in shocked at what she hears! Bua challenges Kamini if she wants to educate Dhani and make her worthy of Viplav, then she might as well pack her bags and leave. But Kamini tells Bua she is doing so, as she has clocked on that Dhani will be her pawn to get to Viplav!
In their love nest Viplav whinges about his wound and bandage.. and asks Dhani to use herbal paste.she rejects it as archaic and he reminds her the herbal paste is knowledge handed down the ages.He is honest enough to own up that he wasn't able to stand for her before dadi Bua due to respect for her. dhani smiles its fine.. such is the harmony between them the moment her fingers apply the paste his smarting heals..and then she gets impulsive! hugs him! kisses him on his stubble cheeks and asks for forgiveness too..causing the accident!viplav inundated and smothered by her apologies goes, hold on!quit the apologies but continue with the kisses ! and he hugs her but she winces and he discovers a bruise around her shoulders.. he tells her she worries about all and is unconcerned about herself.. Viplav fingers puts the soothing paste on her briuse.. slowly and tenderly they work around the bruise of taunts.cruelabravise words that marked her gentle spirit.. his fingers tell her he's here to share with her the burden of being illiterate that she carries on her shoulder! dhani says she's over the moon today! her wish to receive education to day he neednt be ashamed of her again!.. they are about to kiss.. kamini stalks their love moments from their ajar door...
pacy and happening episode.. with a positive outcome ..but the sinister element remains to keep the intrigue going.. hamlet53 4.5.16
