Krishndasi", a TV show which narrates an untold story of the devadasi community, will throw light on prevailing water scarcity in Maharashtra, and will spread a message of water conservation by introducing a track around the issue.
In the new track, the lead cast Aryan (played by Shravan Reddy) and Aaradhya (played by Sana Amin Sheikh) will be seen going to the homes of villagers in Krishnawati to explain the importance of water conservation and what measures one should take to save water, read a statement.
Sana shares that with the "initiative, we aim to bring about a change in our society in a small way".
She said: "Maharashtra is facing serious drought issues and with the current track of the show, we aim to spread awareness about water conservation."
