I felt Sonam was wonderful in Saawariya. I liked her character the best. Laughing or giggles is not something which Aishwarya owns. Sonam's laughter in the film was very fresh and her own. SLB tried to gave the pair Raj Kapoor-Nargis's chemistry but the characters were original.

Phuleease don;t compare Sonam to the mediocre actresses...Its been 10+ years in the field and Aishwarya still did not get the ropes of acting...Sonam was just simply superb in her debut movie...Sakina is not a run of the mill character and Sonam pulled it off with such ease and elegance....👏

Aishwarya has miles to go before being compared to the actresses like Rani, Sonam etc...I agree she is amongst the top in the beauty department though...

sonam is better then ash...ash is to much of proud of her beauty......in saawariya sonamz character was sort of disabled to me lol once she lafed then cried! omg so awfull...n her giiiiiigls lmao!

lo..how can u guyz think of comparing her wid ASH...he copied ASH for sure..her way of speaking her actions...that carpet scene...ASH cant b compared wid any1..

Well, I don't think you can compare then because Ash has her own style, Sonam has her own.
I love Ash and Sonam... I dont think Sonam copied Ash.
Well, I might be wrong... so I don't know!
Hmm... I loves Sonam in Saawariya... her innocence was uncomparable!
I also loves Ash in Devdas... her innocence was sweet yet passionate 😛
