The confession won't come so easily. Sona has always been a romantic person and she will easily understand if she is in love or not. Whereas Dev is completely unaware of that feeling. For him love is his family.. beyond that he doesn't know what actually love means. He needs to be taught how to love, how to realise those feelings.. and he will because it will be Sona doing the deed. Though I don't think Dev will ever say 'I love you' coz love is beyond these three magical words. And we know the show deals with understanding emotions without even speaking anything.
