Secondly, the scene that made me curious is Sita's apparent displeasure with Lakshman's ask to stay within the boundary of his suraksha kavach. It was uncalled for. All of them needed to be constantly alert in the jungle. No one was doubting anyone's ability to protect themselves. Sita's constant taunts to Lakshman about being a "boojh" and showing displeasure at his decision to protect her, is making me extremely uncomfortable. Ram and Lakshman were two bodies one soul. When Lakshman was hit by Indrajit's arrow in Lanka, Ram was willing to forgo Sita, as well as the battle in an instant, and would not be at peace until sankatvimochan Hanuman brought Mahendra parbat. When ved Sushen revived Lakshman using the Sanjeevani leaves from the parbat, Ram breathed easy as if his own life was restored.
I understand that this is a Ramayan from Sita's perspective, but still, it is Ramayan, the story of Ram. No one character was greater than the other. Sita constantly challenging Lakshman is unheard of. Lakshman sacrificed his married life and the materialistic pleasures of palace only to serve his brother and his sister-in-law. He even sacrificed his sleep. Such was a his devotion and dedication to serving Ram and Sita. His only concern was their safety. It really bothers me whenever Sita undermines him or his edicts in SKR. I hope they show some convincing discussion between Ram, Lakshman and Sita to discuss their protection because Sita is taking it extremely lightly thus far or perhaps this is a larger setup for the future when Sita has to repent every doubt she ever cast in Lakshman's direction!
