Kareena in the lead to star opposite Shah Rukh in Aanand Rai's next?

If the director has his way, fans will get to see Kareena paired up opposite SRK for the fourth time.

Rai is keen to get Kareena Kapoor Khan on board to star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film.

There has been a lot of buzz around filmmaker Aanand L Rai's next film, that will see Shah Rukh Khan playing a dwarf. While we do know SRK will be playing the leading role, a search is on for a leading lady.

Over the past few months, there have been rumours that Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif among others are in the running to play the part. However, latest reports suggest that SRK's Ra.One' co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan might just be the lucky one to bag the role.

According to reports, the Tanu Weds Manu' filmmaker is keen to get the actress on board the film. If Rai has his way, fans will get to see Kareena paired up opposite SRK for the fourth time. Their previous films include Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', Asoka' and Ra.One'.

kareena is an average actress and has zero chemistry with Shahrukh, they can cast Deepika instead who has a good chemistry with Shahrukh

I hope this is true.

I just love them together .Especially in Asoka where the chemistry was so sizzling .Just can not get over that Roshani Se Bhare song.

Did not mind them in Ra.one either

I didnt like Kareena before...in fact hated her in K3G, MPKDH, MDK, etc. But lately I have started liking her somewhat, liked her in 3 Idiots, Talash, BB and Kurbaan...so bring it on!

Hope she will be a sassy heroine to the dwarf with an attitude. 😃

Doesn't Imtiaz's film start first?

I don't think SRK's heroine's are announced this far in advance so its prob just a rumour!

But would love to see Kareena directed by Aanand Rai!

It would hate to see Kareena's career suffer like Katrina. Atleast she is a tad bit talented than Katrina so good on her if she can find a role with SRK and bounce back.

I would prefer Sonam or Kangna. It'd be a fresh pairing, plus both of them have already worked with ALR so there is a certain confort level there. It doesn't hurt that I like both of these actresses.
