Needed Help Regarding Hotstar !!

Actually I have downloaded a video of IPKKND...I just wanted to know that where is the downloaded file is saved (if in the phone memory then where exactly). I will be very grateful. Please do help!

I faced the same prob. n contacting to Hotstar. I got to knw dat d video I hav dwnloaded can be watched only on hotstar.

there is no chance of finding it on your gallery neither in phone memory or sd card :-(

It's in ts formate as small files. In memory card/ Android /data /hotstar follder

You have to download mediaconverter from play store in android mobile/tab. You can convert hotstar videos to mp4 format and can save it in your SD card. Just try it

Yes.
First download ipkknd episode in 360p from your hotstar app.(for e.g. episode 37).
Then download "mediaconverter" & "ffmpeg codec arm v7 neon" from play store.
Then open media converter.
There you go to your
Sdcard/android/data/in.startv.hotstar/files/downloads/1000007640/1000007640-local.m3u8
Then go to 'advance convert'.
Then go to 'output parameter'
Here you can select your suitable format.
Then it will activate your output video and output audio.
Then go to 'save to' option.
There you can change/type your folder name.
for ex:- /storage/sdcard0/arshi episodes
Then click on 'convert' option.
Then it will start to convert.
It will take 20-30 mins to complete.
Then you can play it in your media player like MX player or vlc player.
You can also share this video to another device.
P.s- your internet or WiFi should be switched on for this procedure.
