Looks like not every actor is gung-ho about playing positive roles on TV. Take the case of Shagun Ajmani (previously Garima Ajmani), who recently quit 'Jamai Raja' because her negative character was turning positive.
She feels that negative roles are more challenging. "Also, the show was taking a leap and I was not sure where my character (Shabnam) was heading."
Shagun feels that a negative character gets etched in audiences' mind for a longer time. "I prefer to do negative roles because there is so much to learn from it. It also offers a lot of scope for performance. I don't like to cry, I make people cry instead," she smiles.
