hmm...a very good post. Made me ponder.
Welcome to the forum and Michi fan club.
For me Michi are different from any other couple...not because i see them as opposites attract, or because of the performance of the actors (altho Shabbo is undoubtedly brilliant and Panchi has improved a lot since the beginning of the show).
I love the characterization of Michi. The fact that both don't play outside of the set limits of their character...its very rarely seen on any BT show. In almost all the shows i have watched of BT there has been at least once that the characters said or did something that was completely against what they stood for (what their ideologies were). That is for my admiration of the characters. Why Michi work so well onscreen is a different story. I don't see Michi as opposites completely. They are different from each other, they have different temperaments and a different outlook on life. But their is a core similarity in what they want in life. They both provide each other with what the other is in desire of. That is the reason they are so absolutely perfect because they are like two pieces of a puzzle that fits together to make a whole. Michi is a unit and without one the other is dysfunctional (adhura). That is reason i believe them to be destined for each other. Because the way the universe works is all particles try to find a stable state and for Michi being together is the stable state. Right now their world is in an upheaval because their stable state is threatened. I think my post is getting too long so i'll stop.
