I started a poll and I have voted for Gehna. A strong woman, compassionate and self willed. The first version of Gehna.

Hence posting it here.

Anandi had created a legacy herself which will be carried on by not just her children but who ever was influenced by her thoughts or actions.

All the things that Dsa had been doing till the time she died were in fact started by Anandi.

Anandi's staunch opponent turned into someone who endorsed Anandi's thoughts and acts.

So don't understand what legacy which you are talking about?

If it is about Dsa's wealth and property Anandi has never needed that neither do her kids need it. Anandi who taught women about financial self sufficiency and showed them how to earn money she can very well do that for herself.

Anandi has her own identity in Jaitser village which is independent of her Singh family connection.
They made Anandi their sarpanch on the strength of her own contribution to the village.

It is Dsa's wish that Anandi be born as her daughter in the next life that says how much Dsa wanted Anandi to be part of her life.

Anandi is there in BH because of her love for the old lady and not for any other reason.

Looks like Anandi will never be stepping into BH again. She left BH at the same time as Dsa.

There is Quick reply from where one can post.

It is way below on the left.

The legacy according to me is the authoritarian rule combined with compassion, a childlike curiosity etc. Not the property and wealth. Come to think of it, maybe Nandini can fit the bill.

The reason why I did not advocate anandi as the inheritor of dadisa's legacy is this. She is a leader in her own right like dadisa. So I will be talking about anandi's legacy. Anandi is a leader, not a follower.

It will be really ridiculous if anandi followed someone else or inherited someone's legacy. She may have flaws but she is also a leader in many ways. She initiated many things.

so true people here talking about Anandi is creating a legacy , which her children will follow as well as all others who are influenced by great Anandi but here daughter did not follow her footsteps Following her footsteps she should have been doing same work as of her mother , open Anandi Shiv Niketan and teach children and open a private NGO 😆Why she did not follow her mother's ways ?Profession is selected taking inspiration from some one , making someone your role model , your ideal. following whom one choose that profession i too want to be a doctor , engineer , social worker , teacher etc etc
and Anandi's daughter here followed Jagya not her mother ?😆
