The movie is apparently called Mom starring Sridevi. Sajal is her daughter while another Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui is playing her husband i guess

I like Sajal Ali but...🤔

i'm pakistani and I still don't want pakistani actors in bw 😆 it is so hard for Indians (esp dark skinned Indians) to become actors in bw and we are getting people from other countries 😆

That's stereotyping..I can see there are many not-so-fair and good looking actors in Bollywood. Ajay Devgan, Kajol, SRK, Nandita Das, Konkena Sharma are some examples. If you are a good actor..looks or dark skin cannot stop you.
And as far as Pakistani actors are concerned, yes they should focus more on their on cinema rather than jumping on every offer from BW..
And I am a Pakistani who feels like that.

yeah but how many successful indian female actresses are dark skinned? Even actresses who are not fair (like kajol and deepika) get their skin lightened and bleached.
and konkana isn't even a mainstream actress. this is a mentality issue of fair=lovely when it doesn't

but this isn't even about appearance. over half of bollywood are star kids. there is a lot of talent in india but ordinary people hardly get a chance

Kajol kabhi skini whitening nahin ki.
Photoshop ka kamaal hai wo sab. Usko offscreenh dekho,wo wohi sawali hai.
Rekha kafi successful rahi uski jamaney main.
Stop steriotyping
Aur aisa nahin ki Pakistaniyon ko sirf gore honey ki wajaho se liya jaa raha hai
I think some Pakistani actors were talented like Fawad.
