Don't cry Dipti, Amit will be back. He said that Chet was suppose to die. He didn't say that his role is over in the show. He mentioned the Chet's character done.

He is definitely coming back to the show as a different (most probably) or same person (Few chances). I am positive now.

Yeah Anu cannot fight all of sudden with all the wamps. Amit will come back with a new look and new character. Otherwise, Anu won't love anyone else in the show. Maybe Anu will regain counciousness after seeing Amit's face again.
