Abhishek Bachchan played DJ

The entire cast and crew of Jodhaa Akbar had a wrap-up party to celebrate completing the film's shooting schedule on Monday night. And Abhishek Bachchan played both, doting husband and disc jockey, at wife Aishwarya's filmi do.

They all came in twos. Jodhaa Akbar's lead actor, Hrithik Roshan came along with wife Susanne, while Aishwarya came in with Abhishek Bachchan. The film's director Ashutosh Gowarikar came with his wife, Sunita.

Says a source present at the party, "Ashutosh had thrown a special wrap-up party exclusively for the cast and crew of Jodhaa Akbar. He even gave a short speech to thank the cast members, especially Ash and Hritik for their co-operation and for their patient demeanor while the film's shooting schedule went on endlessly. He also joked with the crew members that after this day they are free from his orders as he wouldn't be ordering them around anymore."

"The actors were seen sitting together and chatting away, sharing their experiences while they were shooting for the film. Later they hit the dance floor and Hrithik, Abhishek and Ash were seen making the best out of their dancing skills. Though Hrithik and Susanne left a bit early, Ash and Abhishek continued to have a great time. Abhishek took over as the DJ while Ash and the rest of the gang were seen dancing to the songs that he played. However, Javed Akhtar preferred to watch every one on the dance floor," adds the source.

Abhishek played some interesting mix of songs like the Marathi hit 'Dhagala Laagli Kal', 'Dil Ka Maamla Hai Dilbar' from Heyy Babyy, and songs from Jhoom Barabar Jhoom while Ash danced and cheered him on.

Looks like Abhishek Bachchan has put the Dhoom 2 experience behind him and decided to look forward. It may be recalled that the Bachchans were quite upset when Hrithik stole the thunder from Abhishek in the film. Then there was the sizzling kiss between Ash and Hrithik.

However, at the recently held wrap-up party of Jodhaa Akbar at Vie Lounge, Abhishek made a surprise appearance.

Squashing rumours over the ongoing feud, the two actors were seen joking and bonding.

A source present at the bash adds, "Ashutosh wasn't too sure if Bachchan Jr would turn up although he had invited him. It was a pleasant surprise for everyone when Abhi dropped in. Hrithik arrived with Sussanne around 11 pm.

Ash came in solo around 11.45 pm. Ash and Hrithik ex-changed pleasantries, and Abhishek made an entry twenty minutes later."

Sources reveal that both Hrithik and Abhishek were in good spirits and enjoying the party. "Hrithik was heard enquiring about Drona, and the special effects used in the film.

He was quite keen to know how the film was shaping up. And the Chota Bachchan complimented Hrithik on his role as Akbar. They discussed how difficult it was to wear heavy costumes on outdoor shoots."

Partied together

Later when the DJ played some hot tracks, both Abhishek-Ash and Hrithik took to the dance floor. "They were totally enjoying themselves. Since there was no media around, they were totally chilled and relaxed. This was probably the first time Abhishek and Hrithik partied so hard together."

Other guests who attended the party were Poonam Sinha, Kiran Deohans, Nitin Desai, Ronnie Screwvala and Ram Mirchandani.
