Both are at fault.
I will state some general fact:
For Raman - If you do something wrong, you will need someone on whom you can burst out of frustration. Raman too was guilty, for loss of Ruhi and he out of frustration and anger told lot of words that can break anyone. Last time also when Raman questioned Ishita's motherhood she was broken. This time Ishita was blamed for loss of Ruhi, and differences in motherhood for step-child and child. It will break anyone. One more thing I tell you, Ishita always fight back but she never fought back when she was questioned on her motherhood. I never found her resorting back when people mocked her about being Baanj earlier. That's her weak point.
Coming to Ishita: She really took a non sense step of committing suicide, but when you are emotionally drained you doesn't really act sensible. That happened with Ishita. Raman harsh word reminded Ishita of her incapability and her failure as a wife/mother. And as far as coming back to Raman's life is concerned she was saved by Mani, and in all this Mani became handicapped. She has a concept in mind that Raman hates her, and here Mani also lost his legs because of her so leaving Mani in that situation was not what Ishita would have ideally preferred specially when she is not sure Raman would really accept her.
So, both of them have given impulsive reaction and taken impulsive decisions. The circumstances were unfavorable.
P.S. No offence to anyone, just my point of view.
