SHAHEER NEW ARTICLE

Glitz Vision is very happy to see Shaheer Sheikh back on desi TV with Sony show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' after a two years international sabbatical. Shaheer has really grown as an actor over the years, he is playing the role of the devoted son Dev very well. It is a pleasant surprise to see an actor underplay normally loud acting is the norm of the day.

It would be interesting to see how Dev romances Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) given the early tension as seen till now. Hope the CV's gives Shaheer the lateral freedom to play the character as he deems fit, for an actor is always in a better position to add or subtract a bit as he or she is living the character.

Also we would request the CV to add some lighter scenes allowing Shaheer to also showcase his sense of humour as having met him I do know that he does have a lighter side to him. He has always been serious in Navya then in Mahabharat and now again as a devotional son.

Many might question this Kashmiri lawyer's turned actor reasoning in taking a Sony project as the channel is fledging in numbers but at least you need to appreciate that the channel is making an effort to break away from high drama saas bahu content. And here we must also credit Shaheer for having taken a risk of doing something which is not so TRP friendly. I am sure this good looking actor must have got loads of saas-bahu offers yet he chose this as he wanted to do something more realistic. We do hope that Indian audience also start watching Sony maybe Shaheer fans can start it's big ticket revival.

In a recent interview Shaheer had said to the media that he wants to direct a web series. Bro pls start work ASAP as digital is the new in-thing and the early bird always gets first movers advantage. And it was good to note that Shaheer was not planning to cast himself as it would get tad difficult to wear two hats at the same time.

Looking ahead if and when Shaheer does get time we would love to see him do something like Fear Factor. Female fans will go crazy when he jumps in the water in swimming trunks. Hope Shaheer finds love again so we can see him shaking a leg in Nach Baliye as well.

Last but not the least Shaheer unlike other TV actors is not in a hurry to jump to cinema. He rightly said that if he chooses a wrong film it might finish his TV career as well. Bhai lage rah, we are sure that you will soon get the big Bollywood break as well.
