hollyBollyWood is right. Under section 160 of the Criminal Procedure Code, Women (also includes men under the age of 15 or above the age 65) have the right of not being physically present at the police station for interrogation. The police can interrogate a woman at her residence in the presence of woman constable and family members or friends.

Kangana claims that this man was Hrithik with whom she was having an online relationship. He claims it wasn't him and is going to great lengths to prove so. Thats the first bit.
Secondly is then her emails to his real id which were unanswered and unwanted. As per her own statement the only other claim of a relationship was 3 party appearances . 1 that he made and 2 that she did . In court she is making NO claims of any other relationship because there wasn't one and for Hrithik to take this to court he can clearly prove so. Hence her claiming there was or the silly ex comment was defamation .
She is alledging a relationship based on the emails with the imposter because everything else was one sided.
The rest of the gossip was for the media only .
Why did take the case to court ? Because nothing else would have stopped her accusations or her emails which were going on until February of this year , even after the infamous pope comment .
