Then there are actual superstars who have effing worked for years to reach that position where you can refer to them as superstars. You can like them or dislike them but the thing you can't deny is that they aren't called superstars for nothing. They have worked darn hard to be where they are today and it's the audience's love that has made them a superstar. Not everyone reaches that level of stardom. The statement about how nobody remembers superstars of yesterday years is preposterous! Plenty in the film industry, hell in her own generation talk about how the likes of Amitabh Bachchan or a Rajesh Khanna or a Waheeda Rehman have inspired them. So yes they aren't "real heroes" in the sense they haven't done something heroic in real life but a lot of these superstars are people whose work has touched the life of others. Whose films have made the audience happy, whose films have inspired many out there!

I'm not a Kangana hater. I'm someone who loved her in Queen and TWMR. There are times where she makes sense and there are times where you end up going...WTH! This one seems to fall in the latter.

But as of today, she is the highest paid and strong source confirmed she was indeed paid ~10CR for Rangoon. Her PR released that highest paid statement ONLY after the deal went through.

Since then, no one has exceeded the target but the field is open.
