Chapter 2

Rathode palace

A party, a celebration was going on. A man came to the stage and took the mic and addressed the gathering- "thank u all for coming here i held this party for two reasons, first i am more or less likely to grab the London project and to introduce my youngest son Kabir Singh Rathode to all of you. He was studying in dubai all this time thus none of you know him and unfortunately while coming to home from airport he met with an accident and is facing some problems with his memory so i request all of you not to ask him things which might tigger an attack, but don't worry he is still brilliant when it comes to business so why don't you all see him, Kabir beta come up."

A cute, charming boy with a dazzling smile climbed the stage and stood by his farther Arjun Singh Rathode.

"he is Kabir, my youngest son. He will shortly be joining me and viraj in meeting and all so why don't you all get familiar with him"

Both left the stage together and indulged in meeting and greeting the gathering.

Kabir was talking to some guests when he heard someone call him, he turned to see that it was his brother Viraj and his sister-in-law kaira and his cute niece Vira.

He walked towards them and viraj welcomed him with a brotherly hug, he greeted kaira and picked Vira in his arms.

"hello my little, what's up?"

"chachu, i missed you so much" said vira and pecked kabir's cheek.

"aww i too missed my little girl" he pecked her cheeks too.

Vira looked at her watch and said

"chachu please put me dwn my favourite show is about to begin"

"oh ok but tell me which is this show"

"oh it is on crime branch it shows how they solve all cases"

"accha and how did u got interest in these things"

"its because of her school play Kabir" kaira answered

Kabir bent and carefully placed vira down while she ran.

"play bhabhi?"

"the seniors were showing a play on police and how they help us and all as a part of spreading awareness on need to respect police and all and that's how she got interested"

"oh ok"

"Kabir how are u now?" viraj questioned

"fine bhai but i still don't remember anything nothing about dubai or even my accident"

"don't worry Kabir you will soon remember everything"

Viraj (monologue)- how can you even remember things that never happened with you i hope you soon remember who is the real you and about your past, i hope you do

"yes bhai even i hope so"

Viraj patted his shoulder and went away

Kabir (monologue) remember ahh ya remember things which i never did not possible brother. I so not want to feel you all responsible for all this but the fact that none of my so called family remembers are not telling me about my real identity is not helping. And being a crime branch officer its now even in my character to not to trust anybody easily. But i i just want to solve this bloody murder case and go out of this heaven like cage but unfortunately for that i need to remember somethings more than i do now"

The party was going and the entire rathode family was sitting on a table together including Kabir. All were engaged in some or other talks and Kabir was carefully trying to see through their words and get some clue.

His observations was disturbed when vira came running to him and he took her on his lap, no doubt from everyone here she was the only one who he felt home with. Vira started narrating him of which case was being solved, Kabir was listening to her very interested but as she proceeded he started having the visuals which keep haunting him from the time he woke up. The visions were not clear but still created havoc in his mind. Slowly slowly vira's voice diminished and then everything went blank.

Kabir fainted there and the party was called off and doctor Viren who was treating him since four months was called and Kabir was taken into his room.

The doc examined him thoroughly and gave him a injection to induce sleep and calm down his nerves.

" Dr how is he now" asked Arjun as soon as Dr came out of kabir's room

"this was the 5^th attack he had within the span of just one month, definitely its sign of improvement but this even harm his health. Why don't you tell him whatever you know"

"we don't know much Dr just that if papa is alive today then its because of him" said viraj

The Dr nodded and asked them to take care of Kabir. All nodded and viraj accompanied him outside.

Everyone had retired to their rooms. It was already three hrs since Kabir fainted except vira who was staying with her chachu and watching tv their. Nobody objected as it was even good as they could be informed when Kabir woke up and incase he needed anything.

Vira was watching a music concert, Kabir was slowing gaining his senses, he slowly opened his eyes and he could see vira sitting onthe edge of the bed glued to the tv set. He tried getting up but his head pained severely and thus he decided to lie down for some more time.

It was then that the host of the music concert announced the next performance which was by Nisha Gangwal. Kabir's eye shoot open he wanted to take a glimpse of her but he could not as vira's was blocking her view. And his body was too tried to move. He stopped moving and waited for the song to begin atleast he could hear her voice.

Tu mujhe chhod jaaye
Yeh nahi ho sakta saathiya

The voice created havoc in his senses as it was the only voce he wanted to here all his life and now for months he had not heard it.

The voice brought some memories to him with his life, his Nisha. They walking on the sea shore hand in hand, laughing throwing water on each other, writing their names on the sand, running and enjoying each other's company.

Meri baaton mein tera zikra sadaa
Meri yaad mein teri fikra sadaa

They sitting in his room back in his house, he on bed and Nisha next to him with a first aid kit tendin g his wound on his arm , scolding him for not being carefully and at the same time crying for his pain too.

Main jo bhi hoon tum hi to ho
Mujhe tum se mili apni adaa

It was their proposal anniversary and he acted as if he forgot about it, she being angry on him and then he suprising her by sliding a ring in her ring finger, she jumping happily and both hugging each other.

Zindagi ab tum hi ho..

Kabir remembered how they use to spend their nights on terrace seeing the star filled sky and forming patterns from it.

Chain bhi, mera dard bhi
Meri aashiqui ab tum hi ho

Kabir did not realised when some voluntary teras traced his cheeks, but alas that was they effect she had on him she can make him cry and laugh at the same time, be his strength and also biggest weekness at the same time.

Meri aashiqui ab tum hi ho

She she was his life and his only reasons for existence and now she is far for him. Not that he doesn't miss her, he do miss her, miss her very much but situation can sometimes be utterly strange and this was one such situation.

Khud ko jo yun
De diya hai teri wafaa ne mujhko sambhala
Saare ghamon ko dil se nikaala
Main jo mit bhi gaya to wajood mera
Sada tujh mein rahe zinda..

Kabir slowly using all his strength got up from bed making sure vira does not see him, he was glad that it was only vira in his room as he cant afford that anyone here sees his tears as a hint that he is faking amnesia and all everything will go wrong. Its not like he is completely faking it he still doesn't remember much but yes he does know who he is.

he went to the washroom and closing the door washed his face thoroughly but this tears they never listen to him especially if its for Nisha. He stooped and resting his head on the wall closed his eyes tight. He know that Nisha will still be waiting waiting for him to come even when many says he is dead, but that's what they have between them unbreakable trust and uncountable amount of love.

He washed his face thoroughly and stepped out of the washroom, that's when vira saw him and ran to him and hugged his legs.

He too sat and reached her level and hugged her and that's when he looked at Nisha, look of her face gave her immense pain, she was still the same and beautiful but there was something more and something less. Less was her glow and happiness, the shine of her eyes, the bright smile of her face and more was the pain in her voice, the tears in her eyes, the lonliness written on his face and knowing that he was the reason gave him more pain.

Vira kissed his cheeks and ran to tell everyone that he was up. He smiled at her and went and laid on the bed controlling his over flowing emotions.

I am nostalgic now! This song reminds me of my singing audition😳

Ohh.. This is really intriguing 😳
I am loving it.. First when I read the half chapterr I didn't know what story I am reading 😛
Then when Nisha was singing I got slight hint but still cldn't remember 😆
Finally when Kabir thought that Nisha trusts that he isn't dead I remembered it's the story where Saurav-Kirti were getting engaged (I hope it is that one 😉)
Now the update was nice.. It was so clear that Nisha was singing it for hee love.. But honestly if she was famous and everyone knew her hubby, didn't anyone recognize him 😕
But I trust you, so continue soon 😊
