Light seared into the eyes of Khushi, as the cover of sleep seemed to vanish from them. Lazily, Khushi snuggled further into the warmth of the comforter, for she lacked sleep since days like any love-struck person in pain. Khushi opened her eyes fractionally to have a look at the clock which was usually visible from that position of hers, but this was not the usual condition.

It didn't take longer than a minute for Khushi to realize the differences from this morning to every other morning. Khushi woke up with a jerk while her body was in fight or flight mode, as she was under the thought that the scumbag Rahul, who claimed to be her husband, had kidnapped her but instead of self-proclaimed husband of hers, she found herself facing Arnav Singh Raizada, the person whom she had accepted as her husband, who looked straight into her eyes with shock all over his face.

Ecstasy erupted from every nook and corner of Khushi's body as she saw Arnav in front of her but it was soon replaced with agonizing torment as the accusations which he hurled towards her replayed in her mind. Putting on a shocked facade Khushi spoke,

" Oh Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada. Thank you so much for taking care of this extremely selfish lady when she was possibly unconscious. I hope I have not been a trouble as I have been in the past. If at all I caused some trouble, I seek your apologies for that. Once again, thanks for your concern."

As Khushi was about to leave from there, she found herself stopped by a grip on her hand, which had pushed her back so that she could meet the owner of the hand stopping her, eye to eye.

" Mr.Raizada.."

Arnav placed a finger on her lip while looking at her with immense affection and respect as if she was the most precious thing in the world, and that look was more than enough to stop her from uttering anything as she had lost herself in his oceanic eyes.

" Khushi, I know I had committed a mistake for which a mere apology is suffice. I have questioned the love of the person who taught me how to love. I have questioned the intentions of that person who was anything but selfish. I have questioned the feelings of that person whose feelings were as pure as her favorite color;white. Believe me Khushi, I never wanted to say all those things but I was angry that you came back to me after so long. I wanted to be angry with you but look at the stupid blood-pumping machine in my body which is owned by you, it just wouldn't let me be angry with you.

These five years without you seemed like eons. I had everything but I had nothing because you weren't there. And now when you came, I wanted to show how angry I was with you to not be with me during the moments of pride as I received those awards for rising entrepreneur. I wanted to show you how much pain I was in all these years but it was not at cost of your pain, Khushi. I have survived these years without you and will be able to spend thousands of them if it means you are happy but even a single moment of you being in pain due to me kills me from inside, Khushi. I love you. I love you so damn much that it hurts, it breaks me from within but at the same time it joins back those pieces and gives me solace. Please don't kill me every second by being in pain due to me."

Unwittingly, Arnav's love-filled words for Khushi had brought tears to her eyes. She trusted the person she loved to understand her at any given circumstance and she also trusted her trust, as she knew that the person whom she loved would never let that trust waver, forget break.

" I love you too, Arnav. I love you. I am sorry I couldn't confess before. I a-" She was taken into a warm embrace before she could complete her sentence and his next words made her lose the desire to speak,

" Don't say anything more and make me guilty, Khushi. I am sorry that I let my anger take over my love for a second. But believe me I never wanted to hurt you, in fact I cannot even imagine doing that..."

" Shh! I know you never wanted to hurt me, Arnav. I knew you were justified in being angry but in that situation I got riled up too. You know how headstrong and emotional I can get right?" Khushi reciprocated the hug while Arnav tightened his hold on her.

" Now now my lady, I think we should stop the endless loop of apologizing. I see no point of that when we can do something more fruitful than that?" Arnav pulled out from the heart and eyed her naughtily while Khushi couldn't decipher the meaning of Arnav's words,

" More fruitful? Like?"

Arnav snaked his arm around her waist and pulled her over him, while Khushi drew in deep breath in a shocked state as Arnav huskily whispered, as his breath washed over her skin,

" Like this!"

" Arnav, Yeh Tum Kya Kar Rahe Ho! Chodo Mujhe!" Khushi looked all flustered at his romantic actions and gaze for her.

" Someone told me that her love has all the rights on her and I also happen to be her husband, so Itna Haq THo Banta Hi Hai." Khushi gave him shocked and shy expressions while she started trying to free herself from him as she was getting nervous,

" O Mr.Raizada, Jyada Udo Mat Okay? Ek Kick Lagaongi Na, Tumhe Nani Yaad Ajayengi. Yaad Hai, first day of the college?"

" I wonder why you chose to be Civil Engineer when you could have been the author of a book named, 'How to destroy romantic moments?' Why would you want to remind me the day when you had kicked me so hard that I couldn't get up and walk for a few hours? Scary woman!" pouted Arnav, while Khushi started laughing and wishing that they would always be happy and with each other like they were right then.

But will her wish be fulfilled?

Nice update

Loved it

Finally both confessed and apologized and cleared everything between them. Wondering what are Khushi's parents doing? Are they unknown about Khushi's absence. Hope Rahul doesn't do anything to destroy their happiness.
