A palanquin from the ashram

"The episode is about believing in something that hasn't happened, yet breeds sheer perseverance that strengthens and gives hope of unseen yet better days! " Very well said Hammie. I have said this before and say it again that your writing talent inspires the bunch of us everyday . You express emotions and thoughts that go unnoticed and ignored by the likes of me hence the pleasure of reading your posts is unmeasurable. Thanks for your hard work - everyday .

I do not watch much of Indian television and Ishq is my second show . My patience is often tested when "creative liberties" are taken and the story and characters are manipulated and contrived. You bear witness to my frustrations that I barely hide. What has kept me going is a connection with these characters who seem real and tangible. Who make me laugh and cry and feel their pain and happiness. This was one such episode where the first and last 5 minutes left a tear in my eye . Silly maybe getting sentimental about a soap nevertheless it had an incredible reaction. Made me root for the protagonists - Go Viplav & Dhani - live the life you want and deserve.

The bidai scene ( with Shehnai in the background - lovely ) . If there was one time I felt for Dulaari it was now. A mother who has nothing but a precious daughter who she is handing away . Telling Dhani to be true to her upbringing and asking Vip to take care of her . It is a reason to celebrate as no one thought possible for a daughter to depart in a doli from a Vidhwa ashram . Vip marks the wall with his handprint as a promise to never leave Dhani and be with her always.

A very moving and poignant scene . The one thing that left me a bit uneasy was Viplavs constant assurance in the past couple of days of never leaving Dhani . I hope its just my over active imagination that is bothering me and not an indication for the future.

Two people getting married is just a start of relationship between two families. Viplav may have taken the brave step of marrying a widow that too in secrecy is cognizant of the fact that getting Dhani accepted by his family is a task that cannot be taken for granted . It is important for any child to be accepted by his or her elders despite their deeds. Nervous yet faith in his heart Viplav lands at the AN doorstep with Dhani at his side. As expected Kanak spews poison and asks the couple to go away . Viplav decides to walk away when Dhani stops him.

Normally I would call Mahaan or a martyr but this time I was with her in her decision to stay back. She indeed is not equipped to bear the wrath that Kanak can unleash . She now has the inner strength and support from her husband that makes her strong . It may be romanticism but Viplav has always fought for her , it is her turn now . To show that she is resilient and willing to take on the good and the bad. And of course her upbringing tells her to make a household not break it.

Both turn back to enter the AN door when Dadi comes with the welcome thaali. She has managed to convince the lot that turning Viplav away will mean loosing him for ever. Viplav and dhani's happiness knows no bounds , both have tears of happiness at the welcome and love shown by dadi. Ohhh Such a beautiful 5 minutes ...Dhani walking in marking footsteps entering her new home and as Viplav has promised - He will never leave her and will be with her always ...marks his footsteps along hers .

The entire episode was beautiful ...Kanak is unpardonable . Dadaji has his own issues keeping his empire and status intact . Hot coals is what was laid out for the couple but sheer perseverance and faith helped them remove it . Its going to be interested to see how their journey continues.

That's all for today . Take care.

Hammie, what a great title, A Doli leaving a Widow's Ashram with all the White Gang happy to see a Widow adorned with colour going back into a community that once shunned her. Even God, she must have a big smile on her face.

lovely scene very typical culturaly
Sita Mai said it well, a bride leaving the Ashramin in a Doli is so much better than a Coffin.
such potent words
Raja the Snake Oil Salesman has started to poison the Tripathi's with his venomous lies about Dhaani and the otherwise wily D T and K T seem to be duped by his lies very easily. Smell the coffee D T and K T you are being bamboozled by one that is an amateur at , what you two are master at and still you are taken in this easily.
Soon you will have to eat crow and know that all your hatred was unwarranted.
😆 hilarious haa haaa
Kanak at seeing her son with the woman she abhors at the doorstep of course goes into her over the top dramebaazi with insults flying out of her mouth at rapid speed.😡
This woman needs serious Therapy from a very patient Psychiatrist that will not want to throttle her after only one session.!!!
she sure does..complete fish wife ,street woman voice and lingo
Daadi after some thought gives in and goes to welcome the G S that she loves and does not want to loose. And so Dhaani and Viplav enter the House of Horrors with a
smile at being accepted by at least some members of the family.
dadi even my heart went out to her all is forgiven dadi..
My advice to you dear Dhaani never go out into this house without looking behind you, and left and right of you if you want to survive to tell the story.
🤣 haaa haaa.. i dont think dhani will budge .. viplav will try but she'll stick
The newlyweds have some "Choochi Coo Moments" and try to put behind them the greetings they received from dear Saasu Maa of Hot Coals.
😃 kanak comes out with some macabre ideas
Hammie , I hope this is not going to turn into an evil Saas and a mute dumb Bahu show or I might just have to invest into buying a Wig because I will be pulling out all my hair,I swear.😡
hope nottt even taz mentioned this is serious
Thank you, Hammie , and I leave you with the famous serial line... Don't worry, everything will be fine, I just have to keep repeating that till I believe it myself.
😆 yeah sure thing hun all will be good now that the two are together.. oopsthat is the problem
Take care, may all your days bring you joy.
