ripoff?

When I first saw the promo, I decided I was not going to watch Kasam as mythical/reincarnation shows give me headaches. Still, I catch an episode or two at times because a few members of my family watch it religiously. Yesterday I saw Tuesday's episode I think and it was a ditto copy of Star Plus's Kis Desh. I don't mean to compare but I can't help it. The dialogues, the light bulb scene, the chachi-chacha-cousin drama. The only thing missing is the middle brother and the fact that rishi is a flirt and prem wasn't. Then I heard this was an Ekta Kapoor production? I remember she was going this way for Kis Desh too (killing the male lead) but had to bring him back for audience purposes.

EK borrowed the idea and scenes from KDMHMD...but entire concept of Kasam is very different from KDMHMD...there is difference b/w Prem-Heer and Rishi-Tanu...the love story is completely different...watch it with a fresh mind...you will like the show better...ideas and scenes being borrowed is not copied further more Kasam and KDMHMD...both shows belongs to EK...sharad-kratika brought their own charm and chemistry on those scenes...i have watched KDMHMD but i don't prefer to compare it with Kasam becos the concept and story is different

So this is an EK show. I didn't mean to compare; I know that is not allowed but I couldn't help but notice.

Like I said, I'm not planning on watching it because of the whole reincarnation thing but that whole episode or two that I saw reminded me of Kis Desh (dialogues, characters, scenes) and I couldn't help but laugh.

Perhaps its very early; once the death part comes in, it shall be different.

in KDMHMD...prem was destined to die and heer had to marry preet as per original concept...there was no re-incarnation concept in KDMHMD...due to fans popular demand...EK changed the whole concept of KDMHMD and brought back harshad/prem...but Kasam is a concept of re-incarnation and death being the beginning of Tanshi love story...the story and concept is different...the idea and scenes are heavily borrowed from KDMHMD...

Members are requested to avoid making comparisons with other shows and bringing in other shows to talk about current tracks

This will do nothing bu cause instigation and fights on the forum

Members are requested that when they come across such posts to just report and not comment. I dont understant why members continue to reply to such posts, when the same type of posts were closed yesterday with the same notes. Replies only rile the situation up and then arguments happen. STOP REPLYING.
