My little girl is brilliant: Proud KJo on Alia Bhatt

Filmmaker Karan Johar launched Alia Bhatt in the year 2012 with the superhit film, Student of the Year. Since then, in the span of three years, Alia has come a long way. And, during this duration, it was Imtiaz Ali's Highway, which helped Alia proved her mettle as a strong actress. The film was lauded by critics and Ms Bhatt went on to receive many accolades for her performance.

During the interaction, KJo was all praises about his 'little girl' Alia. He said, "When I saw Alia in Highway I wept because she has come a long way. My little girl is brilliant," said Karan.

However, the director went a step ahead and also apologised for Shandaar (he was the film's co-producer), on behalf on Alia. KJo said, "Alia has made us proud & I apologise for Shaandaar."

Now, that's one strong bonding between Karan-Alia, to go gaga about.
